It has been three days now since Iris was taken to her maternal grandmother. According to Cyril, her late mom's mother had filed a court petition requesting a two-week temporary custody arrangement with Iris.
My role of accompanying Iris to her therapy sessions and providing her with a sense of stability and comfort has not changed. However, the only difference is that I would be doing that from her grandmother's home instead.
I had visited earlier to meet Iris to accompany her to her appointment with the therapist. She was taken to her grandmother's house three days ago by Chris. I only arrived the day after for her therapy session. Her grandmother was so pleased to meet me. She was warm, friendly and interestingly welcoming.
