Cyril's POV My journey home was very quiet. After receiving that mail from the investors, I lost my cool. I didn't expect such feedback. I became devastated at once. For such a long time, I sat without saying a word, oblivious of my environment. I had forgotten Chris and I were meant to be celebrating. For a moment, I saw myself sitting alone in the bar. All the questions going through my mind were questions based on why my proposal was rejected. It was a short while, and it felt like my hopes were being crushed into tiny pieces.
