The Cole mansion had become unbearably strange. Not because the tension disappeared. But because it changed. Somehow, Adrian and Zara had reached a point where they argued almost constantly, irritated each other endlessly, yet still somehow looked for one another without realizing it. And honestly? It was becoming ridiculous. The next morning started with war. Again. Zara walked downstairs wearing one of Adrian’s oversized hoodies completely unaware he was already sitting at the dining table drinking coffee. The moment he looked up and saw her, his eyes narrowed immediately. “That’s mine.” Zara looked down at herself calmly before sitting. “And good morning to you too.” Adrian stared at the hoodie again. “You went into my closet?” “It was cold.” “So you stole my clothes?”
