Matia presses herself into the side of my leg as we wait in what seems to be a lovely guest chamber in Nephthys" Temple. The moment I arrived, I was shown here, but I don"t know precisely what that means or what I"m waiting for. At least the nearly made bed is a comfortable place to sit, and it"s private.
The door opens and surprise flits through me as Tressie enters the room.
"Blessed Priestess," she says with a nod of her head.
"That"s really not necessary." I feel like I"m saying that a lot this week, but I really want people to start calling me Ani again.
"I know, but it"s a formal event, I thought it would be better to start it properly," Tressie responds.
"A formal event, but I have no idea what I"m doing."
She chuckles. "That"s why I"m here." She smiles brightly.
