Liam’s POV
Chey and I climb into my car, but before I can warn her about Adam, she starts talking about the man on her own.
“Something was off with him. He said he was here for matchmaking, but I didn’t see him talk to anyone else, so he must have been spying on his sister.” That’s what Chey thinks; that Adam is a concerned brother.
It’s more likely that someone he knows mentioned Chey to him and he came to ‘investigate’ himself. The worst part is that he clearly liked what he saw, and that doesn’t bode well to me.
