I’m happy for Morgan, and even happier for Hector who I’m currently saying goodbye to. He’s already been marked by his mate, and she by him, so I’m no longer worried about a rejection, I am however, worried about Morgan’s pack members.
Hector is strong enough to take care of himself, but if I have to, I’m willing to travel to kill someone, especially now that I know my future alpha will help me hide the evidence of my crimes.
“Chey, I’ll be fine; I promise.” I stop lecturing the new couple and step back, allowing the man to bid farewell to his family, and that’s when I catch sight of how depressed his mother looks.
