Although it was a brutal way of making a point, it was enough to convince the remaining Kindred to lay down their guns and surrender. With the loss of both Brother Reuben and Sister Magda, the Kindred ranks were in disarray and the ambush had given Haven a clear advantage if they chose to continue fighting.
