Oh Mal. Mal Mal Mal ... where do I begin. We started off so great, until I knew your love for me wasn't true. You didn't love me as much as I love you. I mean hell I only did everything you ever asked of me, and you.. you up and left me. Alone, confused, angry, desperate. Desperate to feel your touch, to hear your sweet sweet voice again, to watch the moonlight bounce off your beautiful blue eyes. To do anything to get you back.
I remember the first time I laid eyes on you.
It was April 28th 1953
You were wearing a hot pink blouse, with your white pair of petal pushers, a pair of your favorite white strap sandals, and you a had your pink lilac headband on. With your hair wild all over your head just the way I like it. I've been watching you at a distance for a few days now hoping you would speak to me. I come to your favorite spot everyday at the Belgium café, but you haven't noticed me. Not a glance nor glare.
Finally the day I build up enough courage to take charge and make my move on you.. You did it. " Excuse me sir, are you aware that your hair is on fire?" You laugh.
I tilt my head and stare, you tilt yours and glance back. We both roar with laughter.
"Actually I was, it's so hot out there that it caught my hair on fire, what's a guy to do." I chuckle. What a corny line . i***t.
It was the middle of spring so not your hottest days.
"Mallory Maxwell." You say extending your arm out laughing as if you wanted me to shake your hand.
I extend my arm out and lock hands with yours. "Jaxson, Jaxson Lewis."
" You must be from around here? I see you here pretty often. Nice to see a familiar face around here, considering I don't know anyone. ." You say.
You noticed me.. I didn't even noticed you noticed me.. I've noticed you and know your not from here because I've never seen your face. I would've remembered seeing a face as perfect as yours.
"Yea , home sweet home. I've grew up here my whole life. Only once for vacation to the beach when I was younger, but that's about it. Good ole Relio." I go on.
"Well then Mr. Jackson of Relio, it's a pleasure." you say smiling at me with that beautiful smile of yours.
"As well for me, what about you? I know every face that is or ever was in Relio. Where are you from?" I ask you intrigued to know more.
"Well I just lost my brother a month ago, my family took a turn for the worst I just needed something new. I also go to Relio University.” You tell me.
You look sad.
“I’m sorry for your loss..” I begin. “Care if I join you? Your probably tired of eating alone.” I laugh, you laugh as well. Only your trying to laugh off the truth.
“Actually no I don’t mind at all. I would love some company.” You assure me smiling with your divine smile.
It was the beginning of our twisted Relationship. Surely I thought we would last a life time, I was wrong.. I know I took it to far that night. He had it coming. You know that. That’s why you helped me isn’t it? Truth is Mallory you have a dark side just like me.. or maybe even darker.
That’s part of the reason you don’t need to have that baby. Well that and my line of work, you know this yet you act oblivious to the facts. I wonder what you told everyone about me. Probably not the truth, if anything at all.
You thought you were untouchable... but your not.Truth is you were quiet easy to find, considering my profession. You thought changing your last name would stop me from finding you, it made it so much easier. Now here I am, in your home town Baiburg.
This isn’t about the baby.. this is simply because you know to much. All lose ends must be tied up. I can’t even trust you to tell me how you really feel about me. I know I can’t trust you with the information you have learned over the years about me. I know this is my fault for falling for you in the first place you were a liability from the beginning. A weakness.
Time to show you how “touch able” you really are, and how naïve you are. You locked the back door before you left.. did you lock the windows?
Hmm see how easy it is, how easy it is for me to get into where you live.. so unsuspecting of you. I’ll be waiting for you Mallory, we have some unfinished business to handle..
Tonight we will meet again my sweet rose, for this is the last time we will.
