Still, quiet, tensed was the atmosphere of the king’s chambers. There was absolute silence with only the beat of hearts pounding inside each other’s chest reaching their ears. Eyes glowing evergreen while the other burning its amber to give the brightening burning of fire. Skin hot as fire and flames raging inside and skin cold as ice, wanting to burst and tear everything apart.
Yet, hearts were hurting and pained, sadness was in the deepest part of those hearts and fear, only fear triggered them so much. Our dear king and queen were just too adamant and ignorant to understand all this and the use of anger was the only way they understood how to express themselves whereas they were simply scared of losing each other.
