Chapter Eight
Seokjin cant help but to smile while looking at Jimin who's talking about Jungseok learning to love dancing, he's such a proud mother.
"Papa! Pa!"
Jimin looks down when the little boy came towards them. He crouches down wiping the side of Jungseok's lips that got all sticky because of the candy he gave.
"Go and play again, baby." Jimin said ruffling the little boy's hair.
Jungseok ran towards the living room excited to play again as Seokjin lend the little boy the toys of Jea- legos, puzzles and toy cars.
"Do you have plans on having a kid with Namjoon?" Seokjin asked.
Jimin took a sip of his coffee before shaking his head as if the thought of having a child with his partner never crossed his mind.
"Not yet," He shrugged his shoulders, "Jungseok is still very little. He still needs attention." He said.
Seokjin slowly nods his head agreeing as to what his friend is saying. That's also right, he's happy that Jimin genuinely loves the little boy. Who wouldnt, though? He's so cute and so sweet.
He suddenly miss the times wherein he has to stay up all night whenever Jea is crying her heart out as a baby. He missed having to carry her in his arms rocking her to sleep and he missed seeing her crawl and struggling to walk- he missed having a baby.
"How about you, hyung? Another baby?" Jimin raised his brows.
Seokjin's face flushed a deep shade of red because of the sudden question. He immediately shook his head dismissing the question.
"Jungkook is still very busy..."
Jimin looked at his wristwatch, his eyes widening when he saw what time it is already, standing up he let out a faint smile at his friend.
"I have to go, hyung. We still have to meet Joonie."
Seokjin also stood up smiling at his younger friend following him in their living room. He walked towards Jimin who's already carrying the little boy in his arms.
"Come back, okay?" Seokjin cooed, "Bye." He excitedly said waving his hands.
Seokjin walked inside the kitchen once again before taking in a deep breathe when he heard the telephone in the living room rang nonstop.
He lazily walked inside the living room once again picking up the phone. He hissed when no one spoke thinking that someone is just playing a prank.
"Papa?"
He furrowed his brows when he realized that it was his daughter, "Jea, baby? Why?" He worriedly asked.
Jea rarely gives him a call while in school. Once he receives a call from his daughter, he needs to go pick her up because she has a high fever.
"Mom! I am in my classmates house. Please pick me up." The little girl happily said.
"Why are you there?"
"We're working on a project together and his father is kind enough to let us do it in their house, Papa. We are now done."
Seokjin protruded his lips as if his daughter could see him doing the said gesture.
He put down the phone after getting the address of the house. He went upstairs changing into a black skinny jeans and a white dress shirt.
Finished, he drove away from their house and start to find the address. Luckily, it is familiar to him because of a friend living near the area.
He parked infront of the huge house going outside the car, he walked towards the gate smiling at the guard who opened it for him. He's surprised when he didnt even ask him any question and just let him in.
He awkwardly went inside the house looking around and silently admiring the interior, the choices were good from the lights up to the appliances and furnitures. It compliments well with one another.
"Papa!"
Seokjin's eyes lit up when she saw his daughter jogging towards him excitedly. He immediately leans down to give her a kiss on the forehead.
"They said you should eat first. Can we, Papa? The lasagna looks nice." Jea said with a small pout forming in her lips.
Seokjin let out a tight lipped smile slowly nodding his head. He ruffled his daughter's hair kissing the top of her head.
"Jea is your mother-"
Seokjin's eyes widened in surprised, "Taehyung?" He gasped.
The said man ran his fingers through his hair licking his lower lips as he tilted his head to the right while looking straight at Seokjin, amused.
Seokjin on the other hand could find anything righ to say. What the hell? Taehyung is wearing casual clothes- khaki shorts and a black v neck shirt. No, he shouldnt dwell on his good looks.
"Uncle, let me call Taemin first." Jea said as she walked upstairs.
Seokjin immediately looks away not knowing what to do. What is Taehyung doing here?
"Im Taemin's father..."
His eyes widened in surprised hearing what he just said, his mouth slight went agaped upon hearing those words. He's already a father of a nine year old boy?
"You should eat first before leaving." Taehyung said with a small smile on his face turning his back against him already.
Seokjin shook his head in disbelief, that's the first time Taehyung said something not stupid infront of him.
"Is your son the transferee?" He carefully asked.
Taehyung put a plate infron of Seokjin and the one next to him before handing him spoon and fork. He then nods his head at the younger.
"Jea told me that he's very quiet. I am glad that he's opening up now." Seokjin said with a warm smile gracing his lips.
He swore that he saw the glint of happiness i Taehyung's eyes upon hearing the improvement of his child.
"Yeah! I just actually," Taehyung shrugged his shoulders, "He's still awkward to me. I just got the full custody so yeah." He said scratching the back of his head.
Seokjin gasped taking in what the older just said. Fully custody? So that means Taehyung is not even together with the boy's mother?
"He's naturally quiet but smart though. He probably got used to that since his mother is kind of problematic."
The way Taehyung said those words made Seokjin's heart flinched just by looking at how hurt his eyes looks- as if going through the pain the same way his son felt.
"Please act nice now that you are living with your son." Seokjin teased which made the both of them laughed.
