27. Breakthrough - Durchbruch
You can’t choose when you get off a ferris wheel, unless of course you jump. Most of the time, you’re stuck there, wishing life — or at least time— away. And it is of course a sin to wish Heaven’s gifts away. But then, so many things are sins, in the Arab faiths — faiths with a dizzying number of rules — exported internationally. Or maybe the fault does not lie with faith. Maybe sin came naturally to me. Or maybe multiple realities coexisted contemporaneously, like the physicists’ and Doctor Fahmy’s idea of the multiverse.
