13. Have Fun Tonight A magnetic force pulled Tony and I onto the beach just beyond the Russian boardwalk restaurant. It would have dragged us directly into the dark expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, if Tony had not suddenly seized me by the arm. ‘What’s wrong?’ I asked, startled. ‘Tonight is crazy enough, right?’ Tony said. I was uncertain that this had been a question. ‘Crazy enough for what,’ I asked. We stood silently, for a moment, looking at each other, and then we simultaneously collapsed into o ne another’s arms.
