A Happy Reunion
EVERYONE IS PRACTICING combat except Robin Hood, Robin looks at Friar Tuck, then at his ring for Marian. Robin looks back at Friar Tuck approaching him.
“Friar. I wish to talk about marrying Marian.”
Friar Tuck looks at Robin knowingly. He long suspected this was coming. “What are your feelings towards Lady Marian?” The Friar asks.
“I can give her my love, but she will be hunted like me.”
Suddenly a Court Jester scrambles through the trees, frantically stumbling into Robin Hood at Robin’s encampment. The Court Jester regains his balance and stands straight. “Robin! We have trouble at Nottingham! They found out Marian is working for you and have given her a sentence of death!”
“When will the sentence be carried out?” Robin asks with great worry in his voice.
