The Sword in the Swamp
WHEN ROBIN HOOD WAKES in pain, he finds he no longer has any of his blood on him. Robin Hood continues his journey across the French countryside.
As he journeys Robin runs across mutilated sheep remains. A French Farmer is standing there observing. “Bonjour.”
“Hello,” Robin says.
“Englishman? My English not so good.”
“What did this?” Robin asks.
“Beast,” The farmer says.
“Like a wolf?”
“No wolf. Beast. Beasts everywhere. You go.”
“Okay,” Robin says.
“Go!”
Robin Hood runs off. Robin walks past several farms when he begins to understand that France is experiencing a famine. Travelling several miles, Robin Hood sits down next to a giant tree, he falls asleep. A voice speaks to Robin in his sleep.
