THAT AFTERNOON SIR Guy enters Sherwood Forest with his men. Sir Guy leading his four men arrives at a fork in the road. Sir Guy starts barking orders, “You two take the left path. The other two, follow me. This is the place Robin Hood is most active. We should run into him eventually.”
The two guards take the left path separating from the group. Going along the path one of the guards is lifted off the ground upside down by a snare. “Well? Don't just stand there. Cut me down!”
The other guard falls over with an arrow in his back. Robin Hood steps out with his bow drawn.
“What are two Nottingham guards doing this far out in Sherwood forest without any taxes to guard?”
“Go to hell, Hood!”
“You first.”
Robin Hood shoots an arrow at the guard narrowly missing.
