Fortunately, an ambulance was summoned earlier, and Hazel arrived at the hospital on time. However, no one cared enough to visit her in the hospital. As Hazel lay on the hospital bed, she began to regain consciousness and was able to recognize distorted noises, which increased in volume as she regained consciousness completely. "Where am I?" she inquired, confused. She attempted to reposition her body by sitting erect, but felt a searing pain in her head. "Owww!" she shouted and placed her palm on her head. She touched her head and found it was wrapped in bandages. A doctor and three female nurses stood and watched Hazel examine her body. She looked the doctor in the eyes and questioned, "What happened?" with a bewildered expression on her face. The doctor had a disinterested expression on his face. He glanced at her for a few seconds before responding to her query. "As per the reports, you tripped and fell. That explains the injuries you have on your head, and your ribs have been somewhat wounded, but you will recover quickly." He smiled wryly. "Oh, that's okay. My husband? Do you have any idea where he could be?" Hazel inquired after scanning the room earlier and discovering her husband's absence. "Your husband? I have not seen him anywhere here. Has anyone seen him around?" The doctor turned and questioned the nurses, who shook their heads in disdain. Hazel had a dissatisfied expression on her face and answered, "Okay. Thank you." "You will be discharged today, so you can return home. I hope you take your medications and get plenty of rest. If you don't, you will put the baby in danger." He smiled as he approached the door. However, before he could open the door and depart, Hazel stopped him and questioned him about the information he had just given her. "What do you mean by 'baby'? Whose baby? Am I pregnant?" Hazel questioned, her eyes wide with confusion. It appeared that her eyeballs would slip out of the socket. "Yes, Ma'am. You are two months pregnant. If you would excuse me, I have another patient to attend to." The doctor stepped out of the room, followed by three nurses. Hazel couldn't believe the news she had just received. She was ecstatic and delighted. She stared at her belly for a few seconds, smiling as she caressed it with her palm. "Hello, tiny one. It's Mummy. I can't wait to meet you," she said with a huge smile on her face. One could say that was the first time she had smiled in a long time. She got out of bed, removed her hospital gown, and wore her blood-stained clothes. She was so excited that she didn't see the blood on her clothes. She raced out of the room and headed straight to reception. She gave them notice that she was leaving, following which she was allowed to leave. "Liam would be overjoyed if I told him I was pregnant! I cannot wait!" She squeaked with joy as she walked out of the hospital premises. As she walked to the bus stop, she received strange stares from passers-by due to her blood-stained clothes. She stopped and mumbled to herself. "Wait, I have no money. How do I get home?" She searched her coat pockets but couldn't find a penny. She rubbed her bandaged head and sat on a bench by the roadside. It had been an hour since Hazel had sat on the roadside. Nobody cared enough to approach her and give her assistance. Suddenly, a tall man wearing a nose mask approached her. He wore a black fur coat that screamed affluence. His perfume lingered in the air, giving off a pleasant sensation. "Hello?" He spoke calmly, sending thrills down her spine. She replied shyly, "Uhm....hi". "I noticed you have been seated here for a while, I hope you're good?" Hazel turned to see if he was talking to anyone else, but it turned out he was talking to her. "Who? Me?" She inquired, as she couldn't imagine someone would want to approach, let alone speak with her. The strange man sat next to her, nodding in agreement. "What has happened to you? Why is there blood all over your clothes? Were you involved in an accident?" He questioned. He grinned and remarked, "Sorry if I'm being nosy," after receiving no response from her except a surprised glance. "I am just curious." He added. Hazel cleared her throat, glanced at him, and finally replied to his inquiries. "I just left the hospital and need to get home. Do you have any spare change? I don't have a dime on me," she pleaded. "Okay, that's cool," the man said, reaching into his pocket and handing her a $100 bill. Hazel was perplexed by this man's gesture of generosity and thanked him. "Thank you very much! Thank you so much, sir!" The weird man stood up from his seat, smiled at her, and said, "It's okay. I hope you go home safely. I'll be on my way immediately." As she departed, Hazel waved at him and smiled the brightest smile he'd ever seen. She stood by the roadside, making a hand gesture to stop a taxi. "Where are you headed, ma'am?" The taxi driver inquired with a strange expression on his face after witnessing her blood-stained shirt. Hazel sat in the taxi and said, "Voldemort estate, please," ignoring the taxi driver's grimace. At that point, all she cared about was sharing the good news with her husband. The memory of the doctor telling her she was pregnant began to play over and over in her thoughts, a smile on her face. "We are here, ma'am," the taxi driver informed her of their arrival at the estate. "Oh, thank you." She got out of the car, groped for the hundred-dollar bill given to her by the man earlier, and stretched it towards the taxi driver. "Here is your change, ma'am," he said, handing her a $20 bill and driving away. Hazel entered the mansion smiling and cheerful. She looked for her husband in the living room but didn't see him. She then asked a maid where he was. "Where's Liam? I can't find him anywhere." The maid was too terrified to talk, so she ignored her and proceeded on her way. "What's going on?" Hazel murmured to herself as she walked upstairs to see whether Liam was in his bedroom. She knocked twice on the door but received no invitation to enter. She softly opened the door to check for his presence. She peered through the door and discovered that the room was vacant. "Where could he be?" She grumbled as she walked to her bedroom to take a shower. "Stop! You're really funny." A female voice spoke, giggled. Hazel paused and waited to hear more. The voice she heard was unfamiliar, and she pondered who it could be. She proceeded straight until she reached the entrance to the guest bedroom. She moved closer to the door, carefully opened it, and peeked to see what was going on. She was surprised to see her husband, to whom she had committed her entire life, on the bed with another lady wrapped in his arms. It was not a pleasant sight to see her spouse laying naked on the bed with another woman who was also naked and wore no clothes. Hazel's eyes widened in surprise as she immediately shut the door and raced straight inside her room, tears streaming down her face. She sat on her bed and began to weep uncontrollably. Her heart was shattered by what she had witnessed earlier. "How could he have done this to me? How!?" She lamented. She did everything she could to make her husband happy. She chose to stay at home so that she could care for her husband and show him how much she loved him. However, Liam didn't care about her loyalty after cheating on her with another lady in their matrimonial home. Hazel, who was formerly thrilled and excited to tell her husband about her pregnancy, was now sad and dejected. Hazel got up from her bed, went straight to the bedroom she had met her husband and his mistress in, and barged in without notice. Liam and the strange lady weren't concerned; neither did they pay Hazel much attention. They continued with their conversation and made jests while Hazel stood there and watched them in disbelief. "Why are you doing this to me, Liam? What did I do wrong to deserve all these treatments?" Hazel sobbed, her eyes red and sweaty all over. Liam groaned and struck out at her, asking, "What is wrong with you!? Can't you knock?" Hazel was stunned and had to confirm that she was the one he was referring to. "Huh? Me?" She questioned. The odd lady kissed Liam on the lips, stood up, and approached Hazel, who was standing by the entrance. She stroked the tip of Hazel's hair and stared at her with disgust. "Oh my goodness, what happened to you? You look disgusting! Anyway, I'm Isabella Ross. I haven't seen you in a long time, and you've changed a lot." She introduced herself before returning to lie on the bed with Liam and continuing to kiss him. "Isabella?" Hazel mumbled. The name seemed familiar to her. She pondered hard and tried to recall where she had heard the name. She immediately snapped her finger and exclaimed, "Isabella Ross! Liam's ex-girlfriend from the past!?" It turned out that Liam had been cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend, whom he had previously dated before Marrying Hazel. Hazel felt disoriented and fell to the ground in horror, losing consciousness..... again.
