Suwon’s Private Estate – Underground Lounge

234 Words
Dim lights. Expensive liquor. The air thick with tension and smoke. Suwon lounged in a high-backed leather chair, swirling a drink in his hand. Across from him stood Subin, calm but clearly agitated. Suwon (coldly): “You told me she’d fall in line. That she'd bring KSH into our pocket.” Subin (gritting his teeth): “She was mine to control—until he showed up.” Suwon scoffed. Suwon: “Jeon Junwoo. Of course. That snake’s always two steps ahead.” A knock echoed through the room. One of Suwon’s men entered, head slightly bowed. Spy: “Sir... the bug was discovered. Disarmed. Traced.” Suwon’s grip on the glass tightened—crack. Suwon (muttering): “Damn him.” Subin (calmly): “Let me handle it. Let them believe they’ve won this round. Junwoo wants her? Let him have her. I’ll take both of them down when they’re too distracted playing house.” Suwon (raising an eyebrow): “You planning something?” Subin (with a slow smile): “I’m not done with Yunie. And I never lose what I claim.” Suwon (leaning forward): “Fine. But remember, Subin—Jeon Junwoo isn’t just a businessman. He’s a monster in a suit. Don’t underestimate him.” Subin: “I’m a monster too. I just wear a prettier smile.” They clinked glasses, an alliance forged not in trust—but in mutual hate.
