We set and just stare at each other in a awkward silence, one that makes your skin crawl. I look up to her and start to say something to break the silence but instead just close my mouth and look down. When I finally look back up at her I see her staring at me with tears in her eyes. She looks me dead in the eyes and asks "are you in love with her"? I'm stunned by her question I hadn't really thought about it like that, I mean I have feelings for Lexi, but I'm not sure if love falls in that category. I was conflicted and didn't know what to do. I sigh and turn back to Stella and I see nothing but pain in her eyes. I tell her all about mine and Lexi's past history and how I thought the moon goddess never made me a mate. I can't tell if she's thinking about what I just said or if she's processing what to say next. Thats when I turn to her and ask her about her life and her history.

I turn to my mate sitting at my side and say "why would I tell you my past history when you haven't even told me your name yet" he turns to me and replies "my name is Sam i am the alpha, your alpha as well as your mate" when he says he's my alpha I start to feel a rage inside at how cocky and arrogant he sounds I turn to him and say "I'm Stella and you are not my alpha, I'm not part of this pack" I see his eyes shift to a darker blue as he leans in my face and says "if you are my mate that makes you the Luna of this pack which makes me your alpha and you will respect me as such". In that moment I got up and yelled at him I couldn't stop the words escaping from my lips as they slipped out "I don't want to be your luna I don't even want you as my mate I was perfectly content where I was before I met you your nothing but an arrogant, self absorbed, a**hole" I see the hurt in his face as I speak these words but before he can say anything else I turn and walk towards the guest room he had shown me earlier. After closing the door that is when I break down and cry.
