When I regained consciousness I blinked a few times allowing my eyes adjust to the dark I could hear the horses hooves hitting what sounded like pavement so I knew I must have been in a horse drawn carriage. I keep trying to think of an escape plan to get myself out of here but I really don't know how I'm gonna get myself out of this situation all I can do is just wonder where they are taking me. I pray to the moon goddess for protection from whatever danger is coming my way. I hear the men who kidnapped me laughing as the horses keep moving, even in the carriage I can smell the alcohol they must be drinking. I think to myself that maybe if they are drunk enough I can take them out and make a run for it. Then I get the thought of what if I don't get the chance to escape? Could this have anything to do with the wolf I seen by the river? I remember that moment clearly as he was in my face I got this tingling feeling deep inside my chest that I didn't want to go away. I couldn't explained it even if I tried, it was almost like a burning sensation but a cooling sensation at the same time it felt almost that my heart was full. I haven't felt my heart since the day I lost my family all I felt was a big gaping hole in my chest where my heart was. but something about being around that wolf made me feel again. I can't help the curiosity that came with the feeling, I wanna know why I had this feeling and what it meant.

I layed in bed thinking about what today would bring it was my younger brothers birthday and my mother had some kind of surprise planned for him but she wouldn't tell me what it was. I was always left in the dark when it came to mothers plans all I knew was that her plans were always cautiously planned out and executed exactly as she wanted. So what was up her sleeve this time and what did that mean for me? In an instant im pulled from my thoughts as a door slams open and I see none other than my mother. She has my sister at her side and she says "you won't believe it but your sister has found her mate and its the alpha of the apex pack." I stare at her in shock cause her and Tommy grew up together, how could they not know they were mates? Then I remember that you don't feel the mate bond till you turn 21 and see your mate for the first time. I sigh as I think about me wishing to find my mate but I'm just convinced that the moon goddess didn't make me a mate I was 24 now and have been looking all over for my mate since I was 21. I look at my sister and say "this is great a marriage between you two will unite the pack and make us stronger I'm so happy for you Emmeline". My mother and sister finally leave as I get ready for my younger brothers party I can't help but think that this part is going to be a bad idea.

As I am sitting in the back of the carriage I hear a man say that we are nearing the gates to the other man and I can't help but wonder where they are taking me. Just then I hear the sound of heavy metal gates opening and the hoses move im getting more and more scared by the minuet but there is not a thing I can do but wait. We finally come to a stop and the carriage opens and its then that I see I am completely surrounded by men. I hear a woman's voice commanding her guards to bring me up to her. As I approach her she grabs me by my face checking me out then she says to the guard "she will make a nice surprise for my son don't you think?" I look in horror as the words come out of her mouth I wonder what is going to happen to me but before I can ask she tells the guard another command. She tells him "take her to the bathroom, get her cleaned up, make her wear what I have laid out and lock her in my sons room after the party is over he will meet her up there." I internally scream as I hear her commands but I can't move as I have two men holding my arms taking me up to the bathroom. I see a maid running water in a bathtub as we reach the door. I have no choice but to undress and get into the tub of water, the guard turns and stands with his back to us as the maid washed my body then she hands me a towel to dry off. I ask the maid what they are going to do to me and she turns to me and smiles as she says "the young son has been looking for his mate and they believe that you are his mate he has been searching for". she hands me the outfit that I am to wear and I am shocked when I see it is lingerie its red lace and I have no choice but to put it on. as I slip it over my body I am in shocked how it fits me perfectly. My breast are decently exposed but my n*****s are covered and the lace fits around my butt and the straps lay delicately on my hips I feel very sexy in this. I turn back to to the frail maid with jet black hair who is blushing as she holds a cover up for the outfit. I put it over me and the guard leads me out of the bathroom and into a bedroom I stair at the wall when the guard leaves me alone I hear the door lock behind me and what feels like hours later the door opens again im shocked at what I see. Its a young man who has dirty blonde hair and deep ocean blue eyes, but I can tell their is a hit of disappointment and disgust in them as he looks at me before I can say anything he says "what are you doing in here and why are you wearing that? You need to get out your not my mate now leave". I'm shocked as I hear them words i thought he didn't know who his mate was before I can stop myself I start crying and run out of the room. As I am crying and running I trip and fall and I'm surprised when I see another man who looks similar to the other boy but older with black hair. He takes one look at me and I can see desire in his eyes and his next words stun me to my core he parts his lips and one word escapes he says "mate"
I keep hearing this word but I have no idea what it means all I know is that I have the same feeling in my stomach as I did when I seen the wolf at the river, but what does this all mean. The next thing I know everything goes black and I pass out
