When they got back to the house, Cade instantly led Raphael over to his private mini bar in his office and poured him a full glass of alcohol.
“How did it happen?" Raphael finally asked and Cade sighed, preparing himself as he returned back to the memories he had been keeping locked away all these years.
He knew he didn't owe Raphael any explanation but talking about it felt oddly freeing and by the time he finished his tale and got into the issues of the day, they had both gone through three bottles of alcohol each and were deeply regretting it.
"f**k, I forgot those were the high alcohol ones!” Cade whispered, his eyes swimming as he stumbled down the hallway with Raphael clinging onto him.
