Sue's beating was much…. Much worse than the other two combined, the pole was destroyed by the time Anya was done with the first round.
But before she could go again, Cade finally manned up and rushed up to stop her.
He forcefully held her in his arms, and no matter how much she struggled in his hold, he didn't let go as he offered for Sue to be taken away at once.
He didn't want her to mistakenly get blood on her hands, he had seen what happened the last time it happened…. although unintentionally.
It had wrecked her….it had almost destroyed her.
Then her struggles turned into sobs, ones that wracked through her entire system and as she shook in his arms, he vowed inside him not to let those trio off.
