Cade forced himself to sit up, wincing slightly at the throbbing in his head as he glanced around, finding the driver slumped to the side in a heap as if dead.
He sucked in a breath as he leaned towards him in annoyance, if he had saved someone who couldn't keep their life after that then all this would have been for nothing and he would have simply just let him die when the car blew up.
As he lowered his fore finger to his nostrils to check for breath, he sighed when he felt air hit his fingers over and over again—so the man was alive, just knocked out…probably from the blow and force of the explosion.
