I remember when my father would listen as my mother would rant over how he manages his business. She would start with him being so lenient with handling his employees and then ranting about how to manage the sales of the wine followed by the unusual antics he would pull when he was at home. My dad would just sit in the couch, pretending that he was listening carefully to what my mom was saying, all the while twiddling his fingers at breakneck speed that I'm surprised that they don't get wrung out or twisted. My mom would then take a deep breath by reminding him if he was listening and then he would stop whatever he was doing to give her his undivided attention within five seconds and then he would do it all over again. I never get tired of seeing him like this. Now I know what he felt
