The operation of HLM High Rise is in full force, simula ng ang shiftings ng mga staffs. Since maganda ang starting ng condotel, I've decided that I can leave it for a while and go to Las Vegas for two days. I'll be there for a business meeting at the same time is to visit my sister Psyche and my nephews. Supposedly this morning ang flight ko but it was delayed and was moved later this evening. Past 1 in the afternoon ay dumaan ako sa frontdesk and I saw Hazel at the counter. Kinamusta ko siya at nagkwentuhan kami. She told me something funny kaya nagtawanan kami. It's almost the end of her shift, pang-morning pala ang shift niya ngayon. Nang dumating na ang kapalit niya ay napasulyap ako sa unahan ng lobby, my eyebrow raised when I saw Li and Cher talking then they hug each other. My blood starts to boil that I want to punch that asshole's face. He boast to us that he love Hazel then I'll see him hugging another woman? What's worst is that it is Cher who he is hugging! Kitang-kita ko how Cher hug that f*****g asshole back, the guts of him to kiss her hair and even hug her. My teeth are clenching and gustong-gusto ko ng sagurin si Li at sapakin siya. It's like several knives was stabbed at my heart when I saw Cher happily laughing at Li that she seemed very comfortable with him. It made me jealous, it made me freaking jealous lalo na ng sumulyap pa si Cher sa akin with indifference and bland expression before walking away from Li.

'What brought you here Li?!' acid is spitting with my words, my stare throws dagger at him.

'I'm fetching angel, and you? I thought you were in Las Vegas.'

'My flight had been delayed, mamayang gabi ang flight ko!' I can't help but to reply sarcastically at him. Hindi maalis sa isip ko ang nakita ko kanina, sila ni Cher na magkayakap and were happy.

'Puntahan ko lang si angel, man.' the nerve of him. After flirting with Cher, ngayon naman balik siya kay Hazel. The f**k!

'Do you know where she can be found?' I arrogantly smirk on him. He didn't mind me and face my staff. He ask something to my afternoon shift staff and tried his charm to get the informations that he needed. After a while, they both look at me. My eyebrow is still arched and was still looking at them.

'Oh you're a jerk Li! Got to go!'

I walk to where Cher walked. Hindi ako matahimik sa nakita ko, jealousy is eating the whole of me. Hindi ko siya nakita so I ask a staff kung nakita niya si Cher. He told me where Cher went kaya mabilis akong naglakad papunta sa Manager's Office. Saktong pagpasok ko ay siya lang ang nandoon.

'Mr. Martin?' halata ang pagkagulat sa voice niya. 'What can I do for you?'

'What's your connection with Ares Timothy Li?!' my anger stirs again when she raise an eyebrow at me.

'I didn't know that it is still part of your work as the owner of HLM High Rise na alamin pati ang personal na buhay ng mga staffs mo! I wasn't informed about this during the orientation! I don't know why you're asking me this now, Mr. Martin! I don't know what you're talking about!'

'Don't you play innocent on me! Answer my goddamn question!!' I eyed her intently but she seems unaffected with my fury.

'What is it to you huh?! Ano ngayon sa'yo kung malapit kami ni Ares?!' she shake her head then look annoyed at me.

'You don't know him too well, Cher! He'll just hurt you and play with you!'

'Wow!! Coming from a person who didn't know that word very well!! Ano bang pake mo Mr. Martin?! This is my f*****g life and you don't have the right to interfere with it! You don't have the right na pakialaman ako!' I can see pure hatred in her eyes, she is still mad at me.

'I am just concern with your welfare Cher and...'

'DAMN YOU!!! CONCERN?! THE f**k!!' nagulat ako when she burst her anger and look icily at me. 'DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW A BIT ABOUT THAT WORD!! THE f**k?!! CONCERN?!!' mabilis siyang naglakad and was about to open the door behind me but I grab her arm firmly. 'DON'T TOUCH ME!! DON'T f*****g EVER TOUCH ME!!'

'Cher...' my voice sounds pleading and weak. I don't recall seeing her this mad before, ngayon ko lang siya nakitang ganito.

'DON'T CALL ME THAT!! DON'T f*****g CALL ME THAT!!' pilit niyang kumawala sa hawak ko.

'I'm sorry Cher... Believe me, I am just concern to you and I don't want you to fall in his hands.' I face her to me, sinalubong niya ako ng nagbabagang tingin.

'f**k YOU MR. MARTIN!!! I'M DONE WITH ALL YOUR SHITS!! THE NERVE OF YOU PARA MAG-SORRY SA AKIN!! AFTER 7 f*****g YEARS?!! f**k YOU!! I HATE YOU TO DEATH!! HUWAG MO AKONG PAGSABIHAN DAHIL WALA KANG PAKIALAM SA BUHAY KO!!'

'Cher...' isang malakas na sampal ang dumapo sa pisngi ko. She is breathing hard and her blue eyes are burning with rage.

'I FORBID YOU TO CALL ME THAT MR. MARTIN!! DON'T CALL ME CHER BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW YOU ANYMORE!!' pumiglas siya sa hawak ko and because her words weakens me, nabitawan ko siya. She immediately went out of the room.

I am shaken with what she said. Her words pierced through the very depths of my heart and passed through my soul. Impaling it hard that I feel my heart paralyzes, her every word breaks my wounded heart even more. Nasasaktan ako kahit pa I've already prepared myself sa galit niya. She hated me so much, she hated me to death.

I am fuming mad. How dare him say those words to me? The nerve of him to tell me na concern siya sa akin and Ares will just hurt and play with me. The nerve of him! Siya nga itong nanakit sa akin! Mabilis akong lumabas ng HLM High Rise, nag-undertime ako. Mabilis kong sinuot ang helmet ko at binaliktad ang jacket sa waist ko to cover my exposed legs saka ako sumakay sa motorbike ko. I quickly drive away from the parking at tumuloy ako sa PNP Detective Unit. Tumuloy-tuloy ako ng lakad until I reach my office. I grab 3 magazines and grab my .9mm pistol na nakasabit sa right leg holster ko. Then I went out to the firing range and prepare myself. All my anger for Luke ay binuhos ko sa pagpapaputok ng baril. Tears are streaming down my face na naging dahilan para mahinto ako sa pagbaril.

'f**k YOU HADES LUKE MARTIN!! SINUNGALING KA!! HINDI KA CONCERN SA AKIN BECAUSE YOU'VE HURTED ME!!!'

All I feel now is anger, extreme anger for him. Galit ako sa kanya dahil matapos ang lahat ng ginawa niya ay may mukha pa siya para magsalita ng ganon sa akin. Kung hindi lang ito dahil sa work ko, I will never want to see him again. But since this is a call of duty, I have no choice but to bear with him until I finish my assignment.

Kinabukasan, ginugol ko ang oras ko sa trabaho ko, nang makauwi ako sa bahay ay pinag-aralan ko ang case ni Luke. Pinag-isipan kong maigi kung paano makakakuha ng lead kay Luke ng hindi niya ako nabibisto. May nabuo akong plano so I called my team. I run through his files and some folders na nakita ko, but just as I thought ay wala akong nakita dito. Kung wala dito, malamang ay sa tinutuluyan niya ay may makukuha ako. Just as what we have planned last night ng team ko ay tinawagan ko sila para sabihin sa kanila na tutuloy kami mamayang gabi sa operation namin. After work ay umuwi na muna ako to change my clothes then pagsapit ng 8 in the evening, I went at New Horizon Condominium in Makati City. Pagpasok ko sa lobby ay nakita ko kaagad ang isa sa team members kong si Cindy na nasa frontdesk. I walk towards her.

'Good evening Mam.' Cindy smiled at me then hand me an electronic key card. Nang kunin ko ito ay tumango siya saka hinawakan ang laylayan ng buhok niya. A sign which means na secured na ang mga CCTV cameras sa paligid just like kung ano ang pinag-usapan namin.

Sumakay na ako sa elevator and waited. Pagdating ko sa penthouse ay deretso na akong pumasok using the electronic key card then lock the door behind me when I've entered. I didn't waste my time, agad akong pumunta sa bedroom niya saka sinimulan ang paghahanap. May nakita akong mga papeles sa coffee table kaya nilapitan ko ito. All are under HLM Group of International Hotels, mga receipts and notes regarding some certain transactions. Using my handy camera which I always use sa mga ganitong undercover jobs, I take some shots sa mga papeles na nasa coffee table. Then I walk towards his study and mabilis na sinuyod ang table. I heard a voice from the ear device that is at my right ear.

'10 minutes already DC.'

Lumabas ako from his study at mula sa kinatatayuan ko ay nakita ko ang isang organizer na nakapatong sa bedside table beside a lamp. Mabilis akong lumapit doon saka binuksan ang organizer. I saw lists of names and its corresponding numbers sa first page. Medyo malabo ang pagkakasulat dito since lapis lang ang ginamit na panulat. The next page are still lists of names at ganon rin sa mga sumunod na pages. I look at the back page, mga lists of places naman ang nakasulat doon with some names and contact numbers. Binuklat ko pabalik ang organizer, there are lists of appointments na nakasulat doon. Some are past appointments already pero karamihan ay paparating na appointments pa lamang. I know this handwritting, kay Luke na sulat ito.

'DC! You need to get out of there! The suspect is here! Do you hear me, DC?! Nasa elevator na ang suspect, paakyat na siya diyan! You have to vacate the place now! I repeat, vacate the place now DC!' agad na bumilis ang t***k ng puso ko. s**t!!

'Copy that Arthur.'

Kung kukuhanan ko pa ng picture bawat pages ng organizer na ito, it will take me awhile bago ko matapos na kuhanan ang lahat. May mga pages pang malabo ang pagkakasulat at alam kong mahirap basahin ito sa picture if ever. f**k! I have no choice! Mabilis kong kinuha ang organizer and secure it inside my black blouse saka mabilis na iti-nuck in ang blouse ko sa suot kong black leather jeans. Bahala na! I've got no choice! Kailangan ko ang organizer na ito! I hurriedly went out of the bedroom and walk papunta sa door para sana lumabas kaso, napahinto ako when I heard the ticking of the door lock. I quickly but silently run towards the kitchen at nagtago sa isang post doon. Mabuti na lang ay madilim ang kitchen kaya it's impossible na makita ako dito since naka-all black ako unless he switch on the light.

'I've just arrived, Li! Give me a break, will you?!' I heard his voice, he is talking to Ares. Mamaya pa ay nagsalita ulit siya. 'I'm f*****g tired man! Bukas na tayo mag-usap!' he paused. 'The f**k?!! Inaantok ako! I can't see you tonight, singkit!' he paused again. Hindi ako gumalaw nor huminga. 'I can't see you tonight nga! I'm dead tired, kakadating ko lang from Las Vegas so please!! f**k you Li!!' he paused again. Rinig na rinig ko ang malakas na kabog ng puso ko. s**t, hindi ako pwedeng mahuli. 'Let's talk tomorrow, Li! Sige na, I'll hang now! I'm thristy, iinom muna ako!' I heard a thump na parang nilapag niya ang phone niya sa table or something.

Shit! Papunta siya dito! f**k! Dahan-dahan akong sumilip so I'll know kung nasaan na siya. He is sitting at the sofa and removing his shoes. I have to think fast. Makikita niya ako kapag binuksan niya ang ilaw dito sa kitchen. I quickly duck and crawl silently papunta sa ilalim ng dining table. I silently wait there, my hands is covering my mouth. I saw his legs, he's wearing a black jeans then barefoot. Ang lakas ng rhythm ng heart ko, I can almost feel it coming out of my chest. He open the refrigerator then stop infront of it. Makalipas ang ilang minutes, he slowly walks to the kitchen counter and I can hear the gushing of the faucet then he walks out. Doon ko lang mahinang pinakawalan ang hininga ko.

'Where are you DC? We are all here at your motorcycle.' rinig ko ang voice ni Levi from my ear device.

I didn't said a word, I didn't dare dahil yari ako kapag nahuli niya ako ngayon dito. I wait on my position then after some ample time ay saka ako maingat na lumabas ng dining table. Pinakiramdaman ko muna ang surrounding ko, tinalasan ko ang pandinig ko so I will hear any sound outside the kitchen. When I didn't hear any sound or motions, sumilip muna ako sa dinaanan ko kanina. No signs of him. Mabilis pero walang ingay parin akong naglakad papunta sa door. I expertly opened it without creating a sound at ganon rin sa pagsara ko. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag when I stepped out of the door. I immediately rush towards the fire exit para makababa ako ng ilan floors.

'I'm on my way out of the building.' sumakay ako ng elevator pababa sa ground floor. When I reach the parking lot kung saan nandoon ang motorbike ko, my team are all there.

'What happened DC?' si Levi ang unang sumalubong sa akin. He quickly scan me, maybe searching for damages.

'I'm fine, Levi. No need to worry.'

'Anong nangyari DC? May nakuha ka ba?' si Paul naman ang nagtanong sa akin.

'I have.' huminga ulit ako ng malalim, savouring the crispness of the air dahil talagang kinapos ako ng hininga kanina.

'At least we've gained something sa operation natin tonight.' Mia said as she pat Cindy's shoulder. They all smile at each other.

'Muntikan ka na dun DC!' Arthur said.

'I didn't knew he'll be back tonight. Mabuti na lang hindi niya ako nakita.' I release another heavy breath. 'Let's get out of here. Bukas na tayo magkita-kita sa office.' I said to everyone.

'Let's go.' sabay na sabi nila Cindy, Arthur, Mia and Paul. Tapos ay nagkanya-kanya na sila ng punta sa mga sasakyan nila.

'How are you Cher?'

'I'm fine Levi.' I open the compartment of my motorbike saka nilagay doon ang camera plus the organizer. Hinubad ko rin ang leather gloves ko even my black cap and put it with the camera.

'You had me worried Cher.' lumapit sa akin si Levi and touch my arm.

'You don't have to worry about me Levi, I can take care of myself.' lumayo ako sa kanya saka sumakay na sa motorbike ko.

'What you did was dangerous, Cher. Muntikan ka na dun, kung nagkataon ay pumalpak ang operation natin and you were caught.' he walk at my side saka hinawakan ang side mirror ng motor ko. Huminga ako ng malalim and look at him.

'I'm okay Levi. Hindi naman ako nahuli so stop worrying.' he stared at my eyes, he is worried sa akin. Isa si Levi sa mga lalaking nagtapat sa akin ng pag-ibig nila. Mabait si Levi, masayang kasama, magalang at gwapo rin kaso... I can't force my heart na tumingin sa iba. I see him as a dear friend of mine and a colleague.

'Ang tigas talaga ng ulo mo Cher. Don't do that stunt again. Please take care because I am always worried at you everytime na nasa operation ka. Hindi ko maalis na mag-alala sa'yo because you knew that I love you.' he hold my hand, hindi ko ito iniwas dahil kabastusan naman kung gagawin ko yun. Mabait sa'kin si Levi, but his kindness isn't enough para magustuhan ko siya.

'Thank you Levi. Aalis na ako, ikaw rin. Pag-aaralan ko pa ang nakuha ko. Let's call it a night, umuwi ka narin.' nginitian ko siya and he nod at me before kissing my forehead.

'I'll text you later pagdating ko sa bahay, sumagot ka naman.' I nod at him as a reply saka binuhay ang makina ng motorbike ko and drive off, away from him.

Pag-uwi ko ng bahay ay naligo na muna ako then settle at the living room with the organizer that I've gotten sa condo unit ni Luke. Inisa-isa ko ang mga numbers doon using my extra phone. Segregating the active from the inactive ones. I jotted down all the addresses plus the contact numbers sa notepad ko. Then write a statement regarding what happened tonight. Tumayo na ako after when something fell at the wooden floor. I kneel on the floor and get the picture na nahulog mula sa organizer. Nakasingit ito sa organizer, hindi ko lang napansin kanina kakamadali. It's a picture of him wearing white button down undershirt and a blue tie. His hair is sleek and neat, he is slightly grinning at this picture. Wala sa sariling hinaplos ko ang mukha niya sa picture and a memory flashed back inside my mind.

*FLASHBACK*

I was awaken by something that is warm na humahaplos sa pisngi ko. Pagdilat ko, a handsome face is the first thing I see. Nakatitig siya sa akin and is also smiling at me.

'Good morning honey. How was your sleep?' he trail his index finger at the side of my neck.

'I'm still sleepy.' I close my eyes, his caress makes me more sleepy. Pero agad rin akong napamulat when I felt his index finger lifting the hem of his white tshirt na suot-suot ko. Then it shifted to the top of my breast, forming a circle at its tip. 'Luke, stop that.'

'Stop? Your crown's hard now.' tinampal ko ang kamay niya kaya siya napahalakhak.

'Inaantok pa ako but you're molesting me.' I smile at him, he stare at me naughtily.

'You still have work today honey. Inakyat ko na ang breakfast natin.'

'I'm sorry hon. I promised last night that I'll cook breakfast for us.' hinawakan ko ang kamay niyang naglalandas sa binti kong exposed. Baka saan pa mapunta, I'm naked underneath.

'You were sleeping soundly kanina, I didn't want to wake you up honey.' he kiss the tip of my nose. 'Post Happy Anniversary to us, hon.' he move and grab the tray na nakapatong sa coffee table. He fix it infront of me while I sit properly. 'For you.' he smile and hand me a stem of white rose.

'Thank you, honey.' he move forward and claim my lips, hinayaan ko siyang halikan ako.

'Ikaw na lang ang kumain niyan, hon.'

'Ha? Why?' I look puzzled at him. Lumapit siya sa akin and nuzzle my neck while his arms wraps around my waist.

'Ikaw na lang ang breakfast ko.' he chuckled. Bwisit na ito! Pati halakhak ang sexy, kainis.

'Tse! Tumigil ka Luke! Let's eat, may pasok pa tayo today!'

'Huwag na tayong pumasok hon, dito na lang tayo. Let's cuddle and make love the whole day.'

'Naku! Hindi pwede! Sa weekend na lang, kailangan ako sa office today.' tinulak ko siya palayo sa akin. 'You've cooked my favorite breakfast?! Why thank you, I love you.' I reach for him at sinalubong niya rin ako then we kiss. A light kiss only but enough to make me feel so special today.

'Let's eat. My honey hates lukewarm coffee.'

We eat our breakfast then after ay naligo na kami. Ayaw niyang pumayag na hindi kami sabay, he was pulling me kapag iiwan ko siya sa bed. When I'm finished fixing myself ay kakalabas niya lang from his walk in closet. Tumayo ako and grab his blue necktie, inayos ko ito sa neck niya and when I'm done ay kinuha ko ang polaroid camera namin at the bedside table. I take some few shots of myself bago ko ito tinapat sa kanya. He face me and slightly grin as I take a picture of him. I've waited for it to dry saka nakangiting tinignan ang picture niya.

'Gwapo ba ako diyan?' he ask boyishly.

'You are always handsome as ever honey.' titig na titig ako sa picture niya.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

'You are always handsome as ever.' wala sa sarili kong sabi while still staring at his picture. I close my eyes nang maramdaman ko ang mainit na liquid na naglandas mula sa mata ko. Binitawan ko ang picture at tinakpan ko ang mukha with my hands. Tears pooled my eyes and I can feel my hands trembling. I hate it that I am still crying over our past. I hate it that I can still remember our memories together. I hate myself for still hurting this much. 'Kailan kita makakalimutan Luke? Kailangan ko makakalimutan ang tayo?'
