SEVEN: Kimberly's Entrance Exams.

~ Sylvia's Pov ~

I'm currently on the first phase of the entrance exams which is questions about Lunaris. I didn't know a thing to write, everything I read just flew past my mind. I guess that crazy meet up took much space in my brain. I looked over at Sol who i coincidentally happened to be in the same exams room with, he looked to be having no problem with the questions. I signed hoping for this paper exam's to finish.

~ Sol's Pov ~

The questions were quite easy. In my world we had people who explored magic theories and I happened to be in a club just like that. Not only that I made sure to read all i could this past week. My attention shifted over to Luc. I, Sylvia, Luc and Cammy happened to be in the same examination rooms. Luc was completely killing the questions, he didn't have that facial expression that would mean he doesn't understand the questions. Well not a surprise i have heard that Luc is a genius among geniuses. I looked over at Cammy, who wasn't also having problem's with the questions and finally my gaze mentally shifted to Sylvia who looked like she was a coconut tree that had been chopped down, i sweat dropped and continued with the questions.

~ Sylvia's Pov ~

Finally the writing exams were over. We we moving on to test on magic. The magic instructor lead us all the way to the schools training grounds, other students who had already been attending Kimberly watched from the windows including Reina. I'm guessing they wanted to figure out how strong this semester Newbies really are. The instructor combined both the nobles and commoner's together and i could see that some nobles were not happy about this. " Okay guys ". The instructor said and caught everyone's attention. " We'll start by measuring your magic levels. This are the targets you will shoot your strongest's D ranked spell at the targets and I will stand here measuring your magic levels. And these walls were created by the first principal in this school and has never been broken down by any magic. Even if it does it can regenerate within 20 seconds ". The instructor said and started calling everyone's name one by the but then it reached my turn and I was over the moon to show Scarlet what I've got. Since the Magic Instructor combined both nobles and commoner's Scarlet was there. I confidently walked up and shot my strongest D ranked spell at the target completely destroying the target and burnt a bit of the walls. " Wow, great score. Of course I'm to accept this from the head of the four main noble houses, the head prodigy and the daughter of the king of Hortensia. You've got some power girl ". The instructor said and I saw Scarlet glare at me, and I giggled to myself. " Nice job cuz ". Sol said and gave me a high-five. " Next, Scarlet Vespertine ". The instructor said and I saw Scarlet walking like a queen over to where she would lunch the targets. " Fiery Crush ". Scarlet said and a little bit of the wall broke along with the target. " Amazing, i can't believe that just your D rank magic is strong like that, can't wait to see your A rank ". " Hold up, we're going A rank? ". Scarlet asked. " Yeah. I was supposed to start from the lowest to the highest rank but I guess this is also okay ". The instructor said and called other participant's. After a while he called Leif's name. " Ha. Finally my turn ". All the new girls started screaming Leif's name. " Diesperce ". Leif enchanted and instead of red flames blue flames came out and it almost destroyed the Walls but the instructor stopped Leif in time before that could happen. Leif walked over to his brother, Luc and said. " Wow. guess i overdid it there, didn't I? ". " Of course you did ". Luc answers sarcastically. " Next. Luc Lunaris ". " Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! ". I could hear girls screaming from the main building cheering for Luc. " Blue Lock ". Luc said and blue fire shot out destroying all the targets and half of the school building. " I was kinda holding back ". Luc said while sticking out his index finger and blowing the blue match at the tip while closing one of his eyes. " Wow such power ". A commoner said. " Yeah and it's D rank too ". Another commoner eagerly finished the statement. " Well, the walls are fixed already. So next up is, Freya Lunaris ". The instructor said and Freya came out. " Show us what you've got, Freya ". The instructor said and Freya started casting. " Tonitrus ". Freya said casting blue fire and destroyed half of the wall like Luc did. " I guess blue fire runs in there family along with the famousness '. I mentally thought to myself. "Nice ". " Now. Camila Love ". Cammy stepped out and chanted. " Fire pit ". A little wave of fire came and wiped the targets also destroying quarter of the wall. " Celia Hills ". The instructor said and Celia came out tok enchanting. " Burning furnace ". Celia said and a huge fire ball destroyed quarter the walls and the targets. While we waited for the wall to regenerate Sol held onto me feeling really nervous. " Don't worry Sol you'll do great ". Sol gulped but smiles a bit gaining a little confidence from me. When the wall finally regenerate's the instructor calls out different people names both nobles and commoner's, both the one I've heard of and the one I've not finally it reached Sol's turn. " Sol Daystar ". " Yes sir ". Sol stepped forward. " Don't overdo it, Sol! ". I heard Reina scream from the main building and i could clearly hear Sol gulp. " I heard he's the second prodigy ". " Oh really, well let's see what he's got ". " He's probably going to embarrass himself ". A baron's spoilt son and he's two minions gossiped about Sol while clearly laughing, not fully knowing that some people could hear them. " Okay, Sol. Shoot your strongest's D ranked spell at the target, K". The instructor said. " Alright ". Sol said a lot better now. " Now, just so just i remind you that this walls are very strong and cannot be broken despite any type of magic you use, even if it does with you using D rank magic it can regenerate in less than 30 seconds ". The instructor explained to Sol a little bit clearer now. " Okay ". Sol said again and stretched his hands to the Target's. " Fire Cross ". Sol enchanted and fire came out not just ordinary fire it was in the color of dark purple and it made an ' X '. It destroyed the whole targets and the wall and still went on outside the wall, probably heading to the nearest village in Lunaris. However Kimberly's Guards got that all covered. I didn't know how they wanted to stop it and I didn't care we've got bigger problems here. " Has anyone ever read history saying that there was something that existed like purple fire? ". Celia asked. ", I'm the best dark magic user in the whole world and I've never heard of it before ". Leif replied. " It was even in a shape of ' X ' ". Freya said. " Never seen anything like that before ". Even the almighty Scarlet has never heard about it. " Hey!, Didn't I tell you to use D ranked magic? ". The instructor said and he's good side completely vanishing. " I did use D ranked magic ". Sol answered back. " But there's no way that D rank magic is nearly that strong, and look the walls are not regenerating but it's past a minute by now ". ", Umm ". The instructor blamed and Sol defended. " Okay everyone the exam is over. Go home and we'll send you the results in a week's time ". The instructor said. " Ha, i messed it all up ". Sol said. " You'll be fine ". I told Sol carefully. " Yeah but was that really D ranked magic? ". Luc asked. " Yeah, that was ". Sol said. " Wow, you've got some power, kid ". Reina said and walked past us. " C'mon Sol, I'm sure it's nothing ". " Sol ". Reina came running down and hugged Sol. " Sorry, lil bro. I was supposed to take care of you but i couldn't even stop you from casting a stupid D rank spell ". Reina said sadly and Sol hugged her back. " You did all you could Reina, i don't blame you ". " Really? ". " Yep ". " Thanks Sol ". Reina said and Sol smiled lovingly to her.

~ The Vice Principals Office ~

" Vice Principal Britney ". The instructor called out as he entered the room. " What is it? ". The vice principal asked. " There's this boy that completely got a perfect score in the writing exams and completely destroyed the training grounds with a very powerful D ranked spell, What should I do? ". " Give him he's score then ". " But...... ". " That's how it should be ". The instructor hesitated but nooded seeing that he had no power to obligate. " Yes Sir ". The instructor left the office. " Ha! I hope that boy doesn't make a rackus ". The vice principal sighed while giggling. " Sol ".

~ Four Days Later ~

~ No One's Pov ~

" Mm, the results are out ". Reina shouted and dragged Sol to the result papers. " Let's see. Oh Luc you got 2nd. Scarlet you got 4th. Leif you got 3rd. I got 5th. Freya got 6th. Cammy got 7th. Celia got 8th and Sol you got 1st " Sylvia announced the score briefly to them. " Wow Sol. Congratulations ". Leif said. " Yeah and good luck on the speech ". Reina said rapidly. " Thank you. Wait, What!? ". It took Sol a while to hear what Reina said. " You haven't heard? Any student that gets the highest score would give a big speech to the students, it's known as first year entries, I did it last time when I was signed in. But don't worry it's only a speech and the principal would also give her terrifying speech about the school ". Reina explained and Sol face palmed. " Seriously!! ".
