Harlow’s parents and Lena were back from the mall before she even got down the stairs. The party planner arrived a half hour later.
The rest of the day was filled with decorating and party joy. People in ever increasing numbers kept showing up to do a job until the house didn’t look much like her childhood home anymore. Her mom was in her element directing what needed to be done, designating chores to one person or another.
This was a full service event. A party was literally transported to the Sweeting house. There was food, and music, and a bar.
