Chapter 3

"Going somewhere lovely?"

"I need to leave. He asked me to leave!"

"Oh, but you can't leave now. You are very special and will need to stay here with us," he said

"What?! Where's Amber? I need her"

"Dont worry, she's fine, I've shown her to her room already which she seemed more then happy about might I add and yours is this way. Follow me" he stares at me, almost waiting for me to challenge him

Judging on the size of him and being without amber I decided to follow him. I looked at as much as possible trying to remember where every room was incase I needed to leave in a hurry. We went up stairs, around corners, it was a maze.

"Here we are lovely" he says while gesturing to a huge bedroom

"I will ask for your belongs to be brought here immediately from the hotel, anything else you might need is in the bedroom and bathroom for you. I will see you shortly" he then closes the door locking it behind him

Oh my gosh. What have I done, I shouldn't have agreed to this! His eyes changed, what was he. I need to find amber and get out of here as soon as possible. Wait my passport, I have to wait till our bags get here. I'm trapped. I look through my purse for my phone thankful when I found it but it was short lived.

"What no service?!" Panic sets in, I look around the room taking in my surroundings. It's a nice place to be locked in to it light and airy in whites and golds, green plants were scattered around the room. There was a massive bed in the middle with a sofa at the end and opposite was a bathroom with a big shower that in other circumstances I'd love to bathe under. Wait is that a door by the bed? A balcony! I unlock the glass doors to a little sitting balcony overlooking the woods. I look around but saw no one. I was only one story high and contemplated trying to shimmy down when there was a knock at the door.

I hurry back inside quietly closing the balcony door.

"Um come in"

It was Liam again

" I just wanted to have a little chat with you on the behalf of my boss. He does have a kind heart in there, it's just that he has been subjected to the darkness for a long time now. There's another side to him that comes out every now and then that he can't always control"

I scoff "yeah you mean his temper?"

"Precisely" he agrees

"He asks for another chance?"

I get nervous " im not sure, his eyes.. they.. just" unable to explain what I saw without sounding like a crazed person I decided to stop rambling and agree.

I was lead out through the pine trees on a stone path to a gazebo that over looked a lake where he was waiting for me.

I take a deep breath and walk up to him

He looks up to me with a soft expression " thank you for agreeing to meet with me again, I couldn't stay in the room with your scent and needed you to leave"

I was taken back from his explanation

"Oh um ok, was it my perfume maybe? I didn't think I remembered to put it on this morning but maybe I had?"

"Possibly. I would like to make it up to you, would you like to join me on a date this evening id like to get to know you?" He asks

"I'd like that very much, however there's one thing I must know"

"Anything"

"I still don't know your name?"

"My name is Killian"

"Killian" I repeated back to him

He closed his eyes and seemed to relax

"So tell me, what is this arrangement you made with my beta?"

"I'm sorry who?"

"Liam"

"Oh well I placed an post up on a website offering myself and Liam offered a generous offer plus my friend and my travel expenses to meet him and full fill my obligations in the contracted agreement. But he then mentioned that I was actually meant to be for you"

"Hmm I see. Where are you from?"

"I'm from Australia, I'm studying veterinary medicine and needed funds for my studies"

" you're a long way from home little one. Might I ask, what obligations were you required to meet?" He asked while staring into my eyes

My face heated, and my heart started pounding in my chest. Those eyes know how to make me crumble

"Well.. It's my.. umm. It's my innocence. I'm a virgxn"

I cast my eyes away, feeling so embarrassed and nervous all in one.

He groans "Mm you're killing me my love" he tilts my chin up to him and slowly leans in for a kiss as if to ask my permission, confidence washed over me and I pressed my lips to his. It felt light a fire ignited within me it was soft yet full of need and longing.
