Chapter 6 A year later Alexis Woodville lay back exhaustedly in her chair and with one move, pulled the medical mask away from her mouth. She stretched out and turned her face tiredly towards the large ventilator mounted onto the ceiling. For a while, she watched as the rusty blades lazily stirred the dry, warm air of the doctors’ staffroom. It was an unusually hot day, which physically challenged not only the Doctors Without Borders team but their patients too.
