There wasn’t much to discuss with the Sullivans. The entire deal was settled already. We were meeting only to sign the official transfer of their financial consultation unit to the Korlin Group. According to Rhea’s initial arrangements, I was to invite the Sullivans to dine with me once the contract was signed, to show respect to the senior Mr Sullivan, but I had other ideas. I wanted to skip that bit so I could ask Rhea instead to have lunch with me. I stayed back conversing with the Sullivans for another half an hour after the contract signing so I would bump into Rhea on my way out. I got up to leave when the hotel staff came in and informed the Sullivans about the people from The Dialectics that had already arrived for the interview. I took their leave and went to the door.
