At around six o’clock in the morning, the following day, Rhea woke up to the sound of chirping birds on her balcony. She tried to get up to pull the second layer of grey blackout curtains over the balcony sliders since she knew that in the next two hours the yellow cotton drapes would be of no help in keeping the blinding sunlight out that would stream into the room through the opaque door. However, Aron's arm kept her pinned to the bed. With a smile, she nestled further into the man’s arms and slipped lazily back to her peaceful slumber.
The next time, she woke up to the raucous rays of the sun that were too harsh to be stopped by the single layer of yellow cotton curtains on the glass door. Her entire room was filled with glaring yellow light.
