Unlike the mountain that they had left behind, this one seemed untouched by the humans. The snow on the ground was thicker, the canopies of the trees were covered in snow too and massive icicles hung from them, threatening menacingly to skewer through anyone who dared to walk under them. Aron drove for an hour through what was supposed to be the road but now was completely covered in at least ten inches of snow.
The only reason he could guess it to be a road was the way trees were aligned symmetrically on both its sides. However, when he finally thought that the snow on the rock trails was thinning down, he encountered a roadblock. The blizzard had caused an avalanche, which had completely blocked the road.
