The sky turns orange, the leaves rustle under my feet, and the wind blows into my hair. It's chilly. I wrap my arms around myself as I take a solitary walk on the green field and watch a group of excited and scared pups training under four instructors.
I take in the grassy dewy air and let a smile on my face. I like to take walks alone. I get to clear my mind and soothe the heaviness I feel in my heart. I shake my head and watch the training in silence when a gentle hand on my shoulder startles me. Without a thought, I grab the arm and flex my knees in the air as I pull it forward. The body clings to my back before I flip it over my shoulder. I grunt under my breath as I hear a loud thud, and somebody groans from under me. It takes me a second to register that voice as I blink
