As soon as I opened the door and entered, I saw that the party was in full swing. I stood there for a second, taking it all in, took a deep breath, and said to myself I can do this. If Emmily believes in me, I will not let her down without another thought. I walked with my head held high; I received some attention coming my way while walking, and I ignored it and kept walking.
