Jaces POV.
After arriving at school, I met up with my two best friends Thomas and Greg, who were to be my future beta and gamma respectively. The three of us made our way through the halls towards our lockers. Now, although the three of us more or less ran this place, I personally could not wait to be done here and turn 18 so I could finally take over the alpha position from my father. As we walked, we saw a crowd forming ahead of us.
"What do you think that is all about?" asked Greg.
"Who fuc*ing knows man, but let's check it out" I replied.
We made our way, and the crowd parted for us without a word needing to be spoken. Once we got to the source, we saw our current girlfriends beating the ever living s**t out of that worthless omega Salem. To be honest, I don't even know why she is still a member of the pack. She can't fight, and doesn't even go to training. She is the epitome of weak. So, after hearing from my girl, Michelle, that she was starting s**t so, I took it upon myself to see if I could at the very least get her kicked out of school. Did I believe that she actually started the fight? Hell no. But, I also didn't really care. Plus, by backing Michelle, I all but guaranteed I'd get laid tonight. She may not be my mate, and I sure as hell did not love her, but she was easy on the eyes, and an easy lay so I figured I might as well roll with it until I find my mate or something better comes along.
Salems POV
"You've got to be fuc*ing kidding me! You know damn well I didn't start that s**t. Just because you want to get your d**k wet tonight, doesn't mean you should believe blatant lies!" I scream as I'm dragged down the hall. Physically fighting back would be absolutely pointless. As much as I hate him, even I had to admit that Jace wasn't completely unfortunate looking. He was at least 6'2 with jet black hair, and piercing green eyes. Plus, being the future alpha, he had extra training which left him completely built. It's a shame that he did not spend as much time working on his intelligence, because then he may be a decent alpha when he takes over.
"Who the hell do you think you are speaking to me like that? Whether you like it or not, I AM the future alpha of this pack, and you need to respect me!" He roared.
"Oh Please. I'll give you respect when you earn it! You may be the future alpha, but here you are doing your girlfriends dirty work." I retorted. He ignored me as he continued to drag me. We soon reached the principal's office. He barged in and threw me on the floor at the feet of Mr. Johanson.
"Sir, I found this student fighting with three other students after bullying them..." Jace began.
"Are you serious right now? I was literally on the ground being beaten by three girls!" I say indignantly.
"Silence! You dare speak against your future alpha? Alpha Jace, you are excused. I'll handle it from here." said Mr. Johanson. Jace smirked at me as he left the office. Of course, no one would believe me over him.
"Please tell me you don't actually believe the crap that just came out of his mouth."
"Stop. Just stop. Ms. Rose, more often than not, I have you in my office due to fights. Each time you claim to be the victim but never have the proof or any witness who will come in on your behalf." he began, and I could not believe what I was hearing, I had reported the bullying that has been happening for years and nothing came of it. "You really leave me no choice. I need you to return home for the day and the foreseeable future while I contact the Alpha to determine your punishment."
I looked at him absolutely dumbfounded. I may hate this place with a burning passion, but at the same time, I needed to at least get my diploma before I escaped this sorry excuse for a pack. I could not risk expulsion. So, to not dig the hole I was in any deeper, I turned on my heel and left to head back home. This day could not get any worse.
