The world was a deafening noise. The concrete walls of the server room made the gunshot sound louder. The explosion of gunpowder was like a wave that broke the silence of the underground room. A bullet ripped through the air right where my shoulder had been a before. It tore a jagged line through the strap of my new gold silk dress. The fabric fell apart instantly.
