Chapter 2

The journey seemed like a life turning event for Sarah .her life took a full turn after her parents died ,her so called uncle and aunt sold her to settle a debt for fulfilling their luxurious lifestyle and her father’s drowning business.
She was only informed yesterday about this as they told her the debt was her fathers and only she had to pay it back or else the last remaining of her parents their company and the home will be gone . But the reality was far away , the debt was way more then the company and home .
Her greedy uncle and aunt were spending all the money in their luxurious lifestyle and her uncle was not capable in handling the business hence drowning the company in huge debts .
After days of begging he was able to settle the exchange of Sarah and the debt .He was not going to let go of this offer in any condition.
‘We have raised you since my brother and his wife died ,now we are your parents and we have decided that you will be given to “The Oliver’s” as an exchange for saving this company’ as the words slipped out of his uncle’s mouth Sarah lost all her hopes for a better life .
She was already living as a maid in her own house and when she thought that now after completing her graduation finally she will get a job and get out of their clutches ,hell loose out on her . Her world shattered she didn’t knew what to do .
Her life was not like this before her parents died ,she was treated as a princess by her mom and dad .She never knew what hardship was . But during these six years life taught her many lessons and now she was not used to that princess life anymore she has adjusted herself but this was something else .
She will be given to them as some thing,she will not be a person anymore….she will be a slave for them .
Just thinking about it gave her chills .she doesn’t knew who the Oliver family was what were they going to do to her , are these people involved in human trafficking or some mafia.
Just thinking about all this and crying at her fate Sarah dozed off .
Today was the day of her doom and it started in a bad day for her already as she woke up late in the morning how can she forget she had to wake up early and do all the chores before everyone gets up .not only the cleaning and dusting but she also was expected to make breakfast.
Mumbling about all the things as soon as she step out of her room she was surprised the house was full of maids and everyone of them were busy as her aunt was as usual shouting at everyone to do things perfectly.
Her uncle John was also talking on phone and all the security was also lined up there waiting for his instructions.The scene was like some politician or business tycoon was going to come on some event .
And Sarah knew what the event was .It was her last day in this house.. the house where she enjoyed some of the most beautiful days of her life ,her childhood,the memories of her parents,by this time her eyes were filled with fresh tears .
It wasn’t like she wants to stay here she was anyway going to run away from here after her graduation but know nothing is going to be same .
She has to settle her parents debt and she has decided that she will beg the Mr Oliver and will ask him for some time so that she will work and pay him back the money but first she had to know how much debt in they are .
‘ oh my dear finally you are awake’ came the overly sweet voice of her aunt .
Sarah was shocked to see such tenderness in her voice. Aunt Maria only speak like that to her daughter Olivia .
Olivia was a rich spoiled brat ,same age as Sarah and she was out of country for her modelling contract. She was more cruel than her mom to Sarah and another reason for Sarah to get away from these people as soon as possible.
Sarah used to pray god every night to get away from these people she didn’t knew god will listen to her like that .
She came out of her thoughts when aunt Maria shook her holding her from shoulders. ‘Come on Sarah go and get ready I have called for makeup artist and they are waiting in Olivia’s room go there and get dressed I will send you the dress , we don’t want to anger Mr Oliver’ .
Sarah couldn’t muster up her courage and ask her aunt to not do this to her , to tell her that she was also a daughter to them and silently followed her direction with so much fear in her heart and tears in her eyes.
The cure room of Olivia actually belonged to her long ago but now nothing is same as before.she was no longer the princess any more but a maid at her own house. To complete her education she had to do multiple part time jobs and also to complete her needs .
