Chapter 19 - bad things

Xaviers pov.

Sometime at night I finally came back home to sleep with my beautiful queen but when I got into our room I was surprised to see luca sleeping with Anna, huh probably was crying last night and she must have took him here with her.

Just seeing them sleep together in the same bed made me happy, I finally found the one that loves me, that I can trust , someone who takes care of my son who treats him as her own, and one that isn't with me for money. The only thing I can't tell her is that I'm in the mafia world, I don't want to tell her at all, I don't want her to hate me or be scared of me.

I take off my shirt and pants, changing into sweats I walk over to the bed and club in the bed. As I climbed in I had a sudden bad feeling, this rarely happens to me but whatever it is I have to protect family no matter what.

*phone ringing*

Okay who the f**k is calling me in the damn morning while I'm in bed with my son and Anna?!

'Whoever is calling me right now is going to die for interrupting my sleep with my queen..'

I pull away from Anna and teach over my night stand and grabbed my phone, answering the call as I place it on my ear.

"Chi cazzo mi chiama nella mattino dam?!" (who the f**k is calling me in the dam morning?!) I silently shout at the person that dared to call me right now...

Who would even call me right now?! They should know damn well I'm with my Neonata sleeping.

"mi dispiace, signore, ma c'è un grosso problema," (sorry sir but there is a big problem) oh it's one of my men.. wait hold up what big problem...

"qual e la cattiva notizia?" (what's the bad new?) I ask him as I step out of the room, what can be so bad that they had to call me in the middle of the morning when i'm sleeping with anna?

"Beh, vedi, ugg, come faccio a mettere questo-," (well, you see, ugg, how do i put this-) he was nervously saying but cut him off, was getting to tired of him trying to speak...

"Cazzo, dimmi gia!" (f**k, tell me already!) I shout at him as I place my hand over my face trying to calm down but couldn't.

"abbiamo trovato due tizi che rubano le munizioni, le armi e alcuni farmaci-," (we found two guys stealing our ammo, guns, and some drugs-) they are going to die in the worst possible way... how dare they steal from me...

"ottenere la metà dei ragazzi ci!" (get half of the guys there!) i shout at the that called me, I need them all there to catch them, none of them are going to escape from me..

"capo va bene." (alright boss) the guy said and I hung up. I stormed back into the room and went over to my closet and put it my gray suit quickly with some black dress shoes.

I tuck in my pistol and knife inside my suit. Once done setting everything in place I grab a pen and peace of paper and wrote her a note explaining that I was sorry for leaving her in the morning alone and not to worry about me .

When I was done I placed the note on her nightstand and set it down , I walk over to her and bend down, giving her a kiss on the lips and going over to Luca and kissed his little forehead.

I exit out of the bedroom and rush downstairs where Liam and Adam were already waiting for me.

"E ora di scopare questa stronze," (time to f**k those fuckers up) i said to both liam and Adam as i slammed open the front doors.

We walk out of the house and go inside of Liam's black 3016 BMW m3 which I personally hate and speed off towards our destination.

'Oh they have some nerve to come back and steal s**t from me once again....'

Annas pov.

3 hours later

"Whaaaaaaa!"

Just ignore it Anna it's the alarm, let Xavier get it since after all he knows you well by now..

"Waaaaaaaaaa!"

Oh my god why isn't he getting up to go turn it off?! I just want to sleep..

I finally decided to open my eyes to find no Xavier next to me cuddling me and no alarm clock here but a note. As I was about to reach over to get the note I Heard crying from Lucas room... ah s**t he noticed he wasn't with me.

I get up from the bed and slightly run out of the room with just my shirt and underwear since I'm guessing that note was left since none of the guys were here.

When I got in front of his room I Hurd more crying as if he was panicking or something. I tried to push open the door since I saw it in a movie but THAT was a terrible idea since I hit my head against the which resulted me landing on my ass real hard.

"Ahh." I painfully let out a cry of hurt but quickly got up and this time I turned the knob to open the door, remember Anna don't do stuff you see in tv no matter if it looked cool.

When I opened the door I saw Luca sitting on his crib crying his poor little head out. I looked closer to see that he looked scared, what happen? Is it because I left him here?

"Luca what happened?" I ask him as I picked him up from his crib, placing his head on my shoulder and began to soothe him as I got out of his room and went downstairs.

"I know what will cheer you up." I told Luca as I slightly bounced him a bit which made him let out soft giggles. Once I reached he's down I take his head off of my shoulder and held him out. I bring him up to the air and began to play airplane with him which caused him to stop crying and to show a small smile while letting out cute baby noises.

Once I knew he was happy again I stopped and brought him down and set him on the couch which made him cry, I don't know why he's crying!

Think Anna think what does Luca love? Duh he loves chocolate milk!

"I'll be back Luca ok." I told him as I bend down and kissed his forehead, his little head immodestly went out to try to grab me but I turn around and rush to the kitchen.

As I'm in the kitchen I was being careful not to trip and fall while I ran to the refrigerator to get the chocolate milk.

As I was about to open the refrigerator I felt an arm wrap around my waist very aggressively and a cloth immediately went up to cover my mouth and nose. I immediately held my breath in as I tried kicking at whoever was doing this to me to get off of me. Soon I needed to breathe really bad so somehow I ended up hitting the guys balls.

"AHH!" The man yelled out in pain, taking my chance I run out of the kitchen and towards the living room where Luca was, I need to get into the safe room!

"Luca!" I scream at him, Luca was still crying his eyes out...I think this is the reason why he was crying! He must have seen them-

"AHHHH!!" I scream out as someone else grabbed me from behind and placed another cloth in my face, I held my breath again and began to kick again. I soon began to lose my breath, I need to breathe but I can't!

"Breathe baby girl." The man whispered into my ear, that voice... I Heard it before but where?!?

I couldn't hold it anymore, I needed to breathe. I began to breathe in whatever was on the cloth, causing me to feel light headed, dizzy, my vision started to get blurry, I could barely hear Lucas crying .

I closed my eyes feeling tired suddenly, I'm so sorry Luca for letting you down, I'm sorry Xavier for not taking care of Luca like I should have, I'm so sorry...
