As I stood there looking down at my parents' graves, a single tear slowly crept down my cheek. I leaned down and sat the bouquet of roses, which were a favorite of my mothers, against the stone marker as I quietly said, “Hey mom. Hey daddy. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” I stood again and as I did, I felt Lucas slip his hand silently in mine in support.
