(Lucas’ POV) Well, Duke was right. Or rather Kristen was. We did, in fact, hear back from Tris’ lawyer yesterday. Apparently, Tris is consenting to the test, but she’s not consenting to having it monitored. So we’ll be heading into court in a few days to plead our case. In the meantime, Tracey was happy to submit to having the DNA tests done. Kristen and Duke went with us to my mom’s clinic along with a court-appointed clerk who was to monitor everything. Since the clinic was my mom’s, and I would become the injured party should Tracey be lying, the clerk had no real problem with us using that lab.
