(Lucas’ POV)
After we landed, I cradled Tracey in my arms and carried her out to the SUV dad had waiting for us. She was so exhausted she never even stirred. Which was a good thing because we were all in disguise, so had she opened her eyes just then she might’ve thought she was being kidnapped.
I chuckled at the thought, but it was a real concern, too. But I thought her rest was much more important right now after everything she’s been through lately. Unfortunately, once we got close enough to the hotel, I had to wake her. The look on her face when she saw me with sandy-brown hair, black-rimmed glasses, and a mustache was hysterical. She got this cute little frown on her face and I d*mn near busted a gut laughing when she asked, “Why are you dressed like the monopoly guy?”
