Waking up with a hangover is not fun. Waking up with a hangover as your dad is yelling through the mind link is even worse. I don’t even remember leaving the party last night. I do remember Kent walking me to the door. He had slapped me pretty hard to wake me up and told me that if I woke up my parents he would kill me. Kent has always been scared of my dad, so he never tried to upset him.
He helped me get in the house, but left me when I made it to the stairs. The room was spinning like crazy so I had crawled up the steps and into my room. Judging by the clothes I'm still wearing, I didn’t have the strength to take them off. Judging from the taste in my mouth, I threw up somewhere. Hopefully, that’s not why my dad is mind linking me.
