Chapter Twenty “Did you see that?” asked Billie about an hour later. “What?” asked Henry. I put down the book I’d taken from the store and sat up straighter. “What’s wrong?” We’d slowed down near an abandoned motel. Maybe they wouldn’t give them a room?” “No, I think I saw that truck from earlier going around the back of those motel units.
