Dizane’s Report
The lingering thoughts and feelings for Gazbleir are all gone. I am not his lover anymore nor will I want to be. The reason that I don’t want him to return the power that my mother gave him is because the power contains mother’s previous memory and personality. My mother might’ve wanted me to succeed as the new her, but I just can’t. The dead should remain dead. I don’t want Gazbleir… father to find out about it. I just want him to let go. I will help him let go off the past by finding a new woman to serve as his inspiration and strength. Mother’s power transcended first before father, but she was too late that she had to give it up to father so that in time that I take it back, I’ll become her again. I cannot add this in the report though, it is dangerous. A piece of mother is still within me, my core. This is why I know some things that I should not. I won’t allow it to happen, that’s for sure. Like I said, dead remains dead.
“I met your mom, she’s nice.” Capt. Zirack Xenode Felafel converses casually while in a seductive sitting position. “Are you getting used to the environment already?”
“It’s getting there. A little more adjustments and I’ll fit in with society. “About father, are you friends with him?”
“Well we are not exactly FRIENDS,” she quotes. “He greets me and I greet back. We are more like acquaintances. He was a darling during his pitch black times when he hasn’t evolved, he’s definitely changed…”
“That’s because he is depressed,” I sighed. “Maybe he needs some willpower to strengthen him…” I acted naturally, “I know! What if you’d come and help him? It should work right?”
“I don’t think that’s easy,” she tries to reject the idea.
“No, I know that it will work.” I pursued for her until I can persuade her, “You are willpower. You can even be friends with him. Try and help him out for me.”
“He’s got his friends and I bet they’re more than capable of turning things around.”
“They’re men,” I sighed. “They’re not women like us, Capt. Zirack… please… you are mom’s friend, right?”
“I-I didn’t say we were friends…”
“You’ll be doing her a huge favor,” I sat down melancholic. “You’ll be doing me… us siblings a favor. He is in pain and he probably needs someone… someone like you. You give him the willpower that shining blue-green willpower.”
“I don’t know…”
“Please try,” I encouraged her. I need some more to plant it. “As the embodiment of willpower, you can do it, yes you can. I look up to you ever since I saw you at the party I idolized your poise, your looks, and your strong sense of will. Pretty please…” I added a cute pleading face. “For me…”
“I’ll think about it,” she sighs. “I’ll… I will try… no… I will definitely help… but let me think about it, okay?”
“Thanks,” I cheerfully approached her and hugged her. “I like you a lot. I will come by again tomorrow and I will befriend your children too~”
End Report: She idolizes me and she likes me a lot. She even wants to make friends with my hatchlings. Helping out the Head Captain overcome his distress is a hard task but if I don’t do it, this kid will definitely won’t stop until I say yes. I guess I have no choice, right? Willpower is probably thinking about that. As long as the seed is planted even if it is just not that deep, life finds a way and it will definitely grow.
“I’ve been thinking,” she combs my hair with her fingers. “I’ll give it a go and help your dad, but as long as he and I are not busy you get me?”
“Got you,” I excitedly smiled.

Azalan’s Report
This is a mistake. We planned too soon. This cat-girl is love-struck at father. I don’t know if it is just infatuation, but even before we planned things out, she’s already head over heels with him. The seed has been planted naturally, like a fruit falling from a tree… or is it? Looking from afar using the lens to bypass its walls, I noticed something about her hatchlings. They were doing the same thing as us. This is conflicting. Rather than splitting apart to take action, they stick together like glue. Plus, all of them or I don’t know are lasses. It’s too late to abort the mission. A-at least, father will have other choices if she turns up incompatible. A big question boils down within me… should I go inside or should I find another candidate and let these children help her with father? I cannot decide. For now, I’ll just observe from the shadows or so I thought. I want to help them too…
“It’s her.”
“The goddess of trauma is here.”
“I can’t just go and trust what the Head Captain said.”
“They maybe covering things us.”
“Azalan is not a bad girl!” I yelled at them, “You are adults! You should set a good example and stop gossiping on things that are not true!”
“They’re not telling us the truth!”
“You are what you will always be, a monster!”
“Azalan is not a monster!” I continued to defend myself against the adult bullies. “You are essence beings, lesser gods! Have you no shame and decency?!”
“Back off, she’s gonna attack us!”
“Let her do it so that she’ll show us that she’s a monster!”
“You wench!”
“We will never accept you as an essential being!”
“Father… brothers… sister…” I started to breakdown to cry.
And then, I heard gunshots. One of the five essence beings drops down to his knees. It looks like his nether regions where blasted off from the shot.
“Who’s there?!” one of the essence beings brings out his weapon, “Why don’t you show yourself?!”
“Ganging up on a child seems unjust don’t you think?” Father reveals himself from the shadows. “I never thought there were still defects hiding amongst us.”
“H-head Captain!” one of the essence beings raises his hands. “We are never a part of the defects… we were…”
“Fear,” father projects an aura of cold harsh feeling that caused trepidation. “You don’t believe a word that I said during my speech. Yeah, maybe because we are different, we are essential beings and you are essence beings. I shouldn’t say this because I believe in equality, but this is different this time. KNOW YOUR PLACE!”
“Y-you shot one of us! You shouldn’t be the head captain if you treat us like trash!”
“Oh yes about that shot,” father scratches his head. “I was supposed to shoot him on the leg, but I must admit that I hit the spot. By the way, the way you treat my precious little daughter, that I have been teaching good manners and right conduct, makes me see you essence beings as trash.” He aims at one of them again, “What will I say to your families about your behavior? You bring them disgrace and disappointment. You are all under arrest. I have footage of what occurred here and I will be looking for people like you who doubt us.”
Men from Black Rare Squad started to arrest the five essence jerks. It caused a big scene actually. As for me, I didn’t care. I only want father. I rushed towards him crying.
“It’s good that I just finished with work and decided to swap places with the one watching you, but you already know that somebody’s looking after you.” He caresses my hair, “That’s enough because I know that nothing is your fault. Those bastards are blaming you for their own doing, no offense.”
“It’s all okay, captain.” One of the essence beings replied, “They just wanted to pick on our princess. We assure you that with our lives that Black Rare Squad has the strongest bonds amongst every squad here in Essential Core.”
“Well that’s… promising,” father remarks. “I didn’t expect you to eavesdrop though…”
“W-well,” the essence being tears up, “I’m so touched right now captain… father and daughter bonding… I miss my family.”
“Take the day off,” father smacks himself in the head again and makes me laugh. “There’s the smile I’ve been looking for.”
“Sister!” my siblings rush to my side.
“Alright,” father stands up and looks up ahead. “Your father will be explaining things to the crowd, especially those from the Sapphire Velvet Squad.”

“What happened here?” Dizane grabs my hands, “Are you hurt anywhere?”
“Where are those bastards?!” Axent, though speaking by thought projections, becomes furious.
“Yeah,” Zorg, unexpectedly brave while wearing those glasses, prepares his backpack weapon.
“Guys, it’s fine. Father saved me already.” I wiped off my tears, “he also used a gun similar to Dizane’s.”
“T-that’s great,” Dizane replies. “I’m glad he used mom’s power.”
Zorg sighs, “If I got here on time, I would’ve unleashed the monster within my backpack.”
“You’re all TALK,” Axent sighs. “But I have to admit, you look good with those glasses. You are still a dork though…”
“Anyway,” I looked at each of them. “Mission Report~”
They all nodded.

“I’m sorry for causing this ruckus in front of your headquarters,” Gazbleir lowers his head to Krozel.
“That was admiring though,” Krozel, captain of Sapphire Velvet Squad, remarks. “It’s as if on cue, you saved your hatchling.”
“She’s my daughter,” he scratches his head. “It’s complicated if you asked me. I just want to be a good parent to them since they’re kids.” He looks at the children behind Krozel.
“W-well if you put it that way,” Krozel gives a blunt smile. “About the incident, we’ll make sure to find some more doubters within the core. We can’t let them turn into defects now…”
“You have my gratitude,” he replies and turns around to leave. “Well then, I’ll go back to my children… see you around.”
“Uh… aw!” one of her children kicks her in the feet and glares at her, “Ah wait…”
“Anything wrong?” he turns to look and asks.
“I w-was just wondering,” she glances at her children and then back at him, “if my children and I could come visit your place sometimes. My c-children are eager to make friends with your children. T-they look like they want to defend your child too…”
“Uh sure,” Gazbleir nods. “How about next week, you know, after the raid?”
“Y-YES UHM WONDERFUL,” she exclaims trying to hide her excitement. “It’s a date…”
“Good,” Gazbleir smiles. “I’ll have them prepare for your arrival.”

When he left, Krozel feels some tingling sensation on her knees, like they were about to give up. Her children inexplicably carry her with delight as they celebrate happily for their guardian.
“Look at her shaking wildly hugging her pillows,” one of her children, Ignorance, scoffs. “If I were that pillow, all the bones in my body would’ve been broken. I would be calling some chiropractor any time soon.”
“Don’t be like that,” another of her children, Shame, defends their guardian. “I mean look at her. She is so happy that I’m also happy for her.”
“If it weren’t for me doing what is necessary.” The one, who hit her, Doubt, jumps on the bed. “This is the first step for her, probably.”
“Let’s not get too excited about your date yet,” the last among Krozel’s hatchlings, Friendship, tells her. “You still have to go on a successful raid. Who knows what danger it might cause if you’re not careful.”
She stops hugging her fidgeting about and sits down. “Now that you’ve mention it…”

“It seems odd for you to visit here,” Maozter, goddess of happiness, welcomes Gazbleir. “Are you finally visiting our parent?”
“Maybe, I brought the kids too, but they’re busy wondering around your place.”
“If it’s about the raid, I already told him about that,” she pats him on his shoulders. “If it’s about fixing your relationship with him, then I’ll give you the privacy you need. I remember after he gave that speech, he immediately left.”
“We’ve been harsh ever since he forbid us, essential beings, from having relationships and that we had to fight him back because of it,” Gazbleir heads to the door. “Because of that, he was left vulnerable when the war struck.”
“Talk things out with Lord Xpir,” she nods at Gazbleir. “Those things happened a long time ago. Maybe he’ll lighten up and patch things up with you and then the rest of us… not that some of us could even remember. Most of those who rallied with you for a romantic relationship died during the war. I hoped you’ve moved on too.”
“I guess moving on is pretty hard, huh?”
She shakes her head, “Not really, you just need the right time and right moment to find something new. You might even find your new love interest amongst the remaining adult women… do not include me, of course. I don’t see you anything more than a son.”
“Of course, Maozter of course,” Gazbleir laughs. “I see you more as a nanny,” he sticks out his tongue and then enters the room.
“Seriously,” she grins. “If only you knew how most of the women see you right now…”
