Dimitri POV
Watching her protect me felt strange and yet alluring all at the same times. I know she was supposed to become
My Guardian and place her life before mine but the knowledge of her to be my Luna Queen and rule our lands beside me has me wondering if I should be protecting her as my instincts are telling me to. I watched Thomas start to lunge for her and went to pull her behind me but just before my fingers brushed her hips she attacked him head on.
She matched him blow for blow and then out classed him in seconds.
I could t believe it!
“ I thought you didn’t have your Lycan yet young one?” My fathers voice spoke from beside me
Smirking she replied “ I was just blessed by the Goddess early for I apparently have an equally powerful Mate whose Lycan and himself called to us bringing her forward before her time.”
“NO! You are mine! I raised you and molded you into my perfect Mate! How dare he claim you as his!” Thomas spoke from the ground where he was being held by twin Lycans
Their names are Rico and Marco they have been kind friends to me over the years and trusted allies in fights they are loyal to those that are loyal to them
I couldn’t believe it she spoke through our mate link! Smiling back at her
I see and would you trust them with your life and mine?
Without a second thought or breath. They choose loyalty and honor instead of greed and power. It was why they did not participate in the fight against me. They fought me once when we were younger and never have again.
Then they will be our Guardians
“Rico and Marco please take him to the dungeons and tell Philip he is being charged with attempt to kill the future Luna Queen and when you are done please join us in the dining hall for a formal invite to be myself and Lea’s Guardians.”
Both of their jaws fell open and they stared momentarily before looking towards Lea for some kind of explanation. She simply just nodded her head and smiled and they went about taking their prisoner to the cells
“Well I for one would love to know what is happening here and if I was lied to about the fight? I have several of my warriors out of commission for a few hours because of this young lady here.”
“Yes Uncle, she has already said she did not receive her wolf till I called her forward after the fight. So I am sorry to tell you that your warriors did loose to a young lady”
Leas POV
Watching the twins leave and listening to his Uncle complain I couldn’t help but wonder why me?
“The Goddess just pulled me into a space and explained that and I explained it to you already. Your warriors were defeated by me prior to my Lycan coming to me. They are unpracticed in many ways.”
“Those were my finest warriors young lady!” His uncle well I guess now mine as well bellowed at me while shaking his finger towards where I am to guess his men were recovering
“Calm down brother, let the child sit and have something to drink and then explain what she means. You do not need to attack her” The Ming then lead us towards a seating area where Omegas were placing various foods and drinks on a table
“Please my dear eat and have something to drink and explain what you mean by unpracticed”
Nodding I grabbed some fruits and cheeses and some water. I walked over towards a small couch and as I nibbled on the food I thought how to explain.
“Well I was found when I was maybe around 3 years old and trained to fight since then. Spending my time on the training grounds or in a classroom learning battle strategies. Every moment of my days were filled with how to fight, how to be sneaky, how to win. I can analyze any situation ahead of time and anticipate what will be the outcome before hand. Only two others I know of have ever been able to do the same.”
“Who may these other two be?” My mate asked while placing a calming hand on my thigh
Inhaling sharply from the contact I looked into his eyes and smiled “The twins, it’s why they never have gone against me again. They know the outcome and won’t chance my loyalty to them or theirs to me.”
As I said this they appeared through the doors and walked straight towards me
“Loyalty is always first and not valued amongst many, but we choose it over power and money. Our lives are yours Luna Queen and Alpha King” as one they bowed and barred their necks
