Watching Kiera sleep turned out to be very calming. Once she appeared to be in a deep sleep, I could hear a soft snore escape her from time to time. She looked so peaceful in my arms, it reminded me of the peace I felt when I was younger watching the sunrise at the cottage. Her brown hair was in waves resting behind her as she laid on her side facing me. Leaning to her, I lay a soft kiss on her cheek. I wanted her to see and feel the love that I already felt for her. When my lips touched her skin, I could feel her mouth turn slightly upwards into a tiny grin. Even unconscious, she was stunning. Holding her in my arms right now felt like heaven. She’ll be lucky if she ever gets to leave my arms and this bed again. I felt the desire to stay here, her and I together, forever.
