For the rest of the day, we practiced my elemental skills out in the clearing. I had already learned a couple of nights ago that I had the ability to control the earth if I wanted to, but we needed to see what else I could do. We were able to cross off water as an ability as I did earth. I had found that I could halt water's movements and gather it, at least so far. Brigid claimed that with a little more practice, I could possibly draw water from multiple different sources, like plants, the ground, or even from other people. I hadn’t really felt compelled to do so given the fact that an estimated sixty percent of the human body is made up of water.
