THIRD-PERSON P.O.V.
The following day at the breakfast table, Alpha Jonas could feel the weird atmosphere between Alan and Ariana. It was as if electricity hit them both. None of them said a word, not even to Alpha Jonas.
"Ariana, my child, would you like me to give you a tour today? I know Alan is busy with pack matters and he probably won't be able to join us. Isn't that right, son?" He then turned to Alan.
Alan nodded his head without replying and got ready to leave the dining room.
"Alan, may I have a word with you, please?" Ariana cut him off.
"What?" he replied rudely.
"In private." She used her Alpha tone, and even though he was also an Alpha, Alan felt a shiver down his spine.
"Follow me to my office," Alan told her and walked out of the room.
