AFFAIRS OF THE HEART

The test.

Just when I opened the cap of my drink and stuffed my mouth with the water , I heard some noice and turned to discover who was disturbing my peace but I got the surprise of my life . I sputterd my drink from the shock while my eyes bulged .

Lo, Claus stood with nothing but his underwear and I drooled over him.God knew I had never been in contact with such good looks before, s*x appeal too before . I saw his broad chest , and his abs lean and hard and I immediately felt the need to feel his abs in my hands , He looked so dreamy , like a movie star. How could a guy be so lucky, to have such an amazing body and also be filthy rich, there was something I was missing in all this . I had a crazy urge to feel the hard smell of his muscle over me, which was totally impossible but I couldn't get the picture out of my head . So I turned oway but I still had the memory in my head.

"Snap out of it Monica !"

I cautioned myself as my cheek began to heat up. what was happening to me .For God's sake he has a girlfriend. what up with you .And you are his daughter's nanny , the last thing I wanted was to jeopardize my new found high paying job. I was never the one to mix business with pleasure either. Back home I was taught to keep business, business and pleasure ..pleasure. That's what I've been doing, going by my parents principles. Bacause they knew exactly what was right for me and what was right to do .

"As if that was easy, especially with a masterpiece like Claus "

As I gulped up my water I notices something was different. My muse wasn't there anymore . I stared at the steamy cup of coffee Infront of me but I wasn't seeing the drinker there . He was just there a while ago .

Suddenly I felt the hairs at the back of my neck stand up and I immediately knew he was behind me . I turned swiftly and as expected I bumped into a chest . But at least I knew it was intentional and whatever he was planning to do was going to end well. But I decided to play dumb and ignorant and jerked off from him ."Sorry I wasn't paying attention , I wasn't looking ." I said coming up with the most innocent face I could Master. Claus looked over me and smirked and said I know you ain't that sharp in the love department, but I know you are smart. well we both know you are smart and we both know you did that intentionally.

"W-what ," I sputterd

"Off with the pretence " Claus said running his fingers down my spine. That sent chills down my spine. I was feeling butterflies everywhere , I loved that fact that he was so gentle everytime. He was manly don't get me wrong , He also had this side of him that was calm . He had a calm aura.

At that moment I couldn't even think straight. Monica he is playing with you , okay he is trying to manipulate you.

That was the only reminder I had for myself.I slapped his hand away not minding that my cheek was tingling with excitement, and arching with excitement.

My whole body was yearning for him , I wanted him to touch me everywhere and I didn't know how I was going to tell him this .

"What do you think you are doing,"I retorted. What do you think am doing?he drawled seductively , his breath hitting my ear and I withheld a gasp , I shouldn't show I was excited by whatever he was doing to me.

"Trust me ,that's not going to work on me Mr Andrew " I said using a formal tone . He retreated . I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding . I knew at once claus was dangerous. If he could set my body in a flame with just a touch , what about a kiss?.

It gave me goosebumps just to think about how much influence he had on me.

No ,Monica you are better than this . You can fight this , you are much better than a little temptation.

"Fine ,I give up ..." he said surrendering his hands up in the air.

"I am not going to continue teasing you anymore , ...you already passed the test anyway."

"Test ... what test ..?"

"I can't have you working for me and you are vulnerable to my charms ,that wouldn't be right now would it."I frowned at once

"What in the hell are you talking about Claus Andres.??"

"If you can avoid my charms then that means you can also flee from My cousins charms . That is what I wanted to see if you are loyal to me . I know my cousin he is a pretty manipulative jerk."

"So you were testing me to see if I could betray you to your cousin"

"Yeah , I was , don't tell me you actually fell for it."

"Fell for what , a test. me? No , besides it's just a test."

Claus let out a heavy sight.

"It's not like I don't trust you Monica James "

"Then what it is , I don't get why you have to put me through a test"I retorted realizing how harsh I was sounding . you need to chill Monica I said inwardly.
