Kate POV
Looking at Lily sheepishly, “We’re expecting,” I barely get out before she squeals in excitement hugging me. As we stand there, Miranda has a funny look on her face as she looks at me. Looking at her I have a questioning look on my face, as does Colby. “That was a pretty big attack Kate, let me do a quick scan to see how things are at the moment,”. With that Lily steps back as Miranda does her body scan. I don’t understand the talent, but I am always in awe of it.
As she steps back, she smiles. “It seems your wolf is protecting the pup, just as you would expect,” she says. Feeling a bit of relief roll over me, I still have that sense of fear but trust that in this moment everything is okay. Colby comes over giving me a hug before he lets me go reluctantly.
