Kate POV
Slamming my fist on the Pack house door, I demand that Alpha Jordan explain himself. After seeing Alpha Jordan would not be opening the Pack house door, I turn to storm down the stairs as Colby keeps pace with me. “What the hell did that mean?” I ask him not expecting an answer. Who the hell knew what it meant?
“Kate, he is likely just being an ass. He’s too young to have known your father,” he reminds me. “He is so out of the alliance, Colby; he’s a neanderthal,” I say to him as Colby opens the door for me. He chuckles at me as I turn to look back at the Pack house to see Jordan in the window of his office, smiling at me as he waves. Colby catches the gesture and nudges me to get into the SUV.
